so, in conclusion, we can just try out everything that's been said by these pros and see what's d effect on our body right?but point is, it all comes down to technique and form right bro which contribute to the results? to be honest, my weight when lifting is still consider well, kinda sissy weights eventhough i've been goin to the gym like almost 2 years.must be something wrong with me..
*
Beginners = perfect form, moderate weights
Advanced and professionals = good form, heavy weights high reps

They're called IFBB Pros for a reason. People are too quick to say it's all drug use, etc. But they didn't get to where they are now with half assed training and no mind muscle connection. They know what they're doing. But it doesn't mean it can work for you, which is why all pros use different training styles too.

Me doing 60kg bicep curls, strict as i can go but I can't prevent myself from swinging a little. The weight is heavy as shit.

So can you imagine those fellas who lift weights far heavier than me? No way they can do it ultra strict.

Lol gave up on traditional barbell curls. Didn't work for me even though it worked for a lotta people. I do alternative exercises now.

oo..i read somewhere they say alternate exercise stimulates the muscle better. this includes chest exerceises too. so far how did it go on wit u?ok?
*
When I said alternative exercises for biceps I meant any other exercise than barbell curl. =)

QUOTE(JonYeap @ Jul 3 2010, 04:41 PM)
alternative exercises such as?
maybe i should give it a try.
bicep doesnt seem to get some peak.
*
Anything else. Db curl, etc, so many. Bb curls are a monster builder but doesn't work for me cos I got small arms.

On a note I'm now curling the 60 pound db's for 8 reps. =P

need a lot of workout like u guys
*
Not bad. The upper outer sweep is coming along. You're lacking in mid back development. More behind the neck pulldowns, medium to wide grip machine rows!

QUOTE(D_Predator @ Jul 4 2010, 06:03 PM)
I got a question, wat do u guys think of taking eggs say 4 biji everyday?is it ok?I mean haf boiled eggs.another think,is do u have any ideas to replace slow release shakes?I'm thinking bout taking solid foods.coz supoplmnts are gettin expensive nowdays.
*
Now you see the light. Solid diet in place first, then consider supps. Or supps to replace solid foods when you absolutely have no time to prepare them. Forget about slow release shit. It's the total number of cals a day which matters. Eggs/chicken and rice/a can of tuna/etc prebedtime. If your diet was crappy throughout the whole day, eating tons at night won't make up for it.

QUOTE(shiloong7081 @ Jul 4 2010, 07:47 PM)
Lets say 1L of milk costs Rm4.50, gives 34g of protein/L, so 1g of protein would cost Rm0.13.
1 egg costs Rm0.30, gives 6g of protein, so 1g would be RM0.05
ON whey costs RM180 for 2.2kg, so 1g of protein would be RM0.08

That's just some simple calculations. IMO whey isn't THAT expensive considered the convenience it provides.
*
Damn..... I don't even calculate. Heh.

Bulking phase. Don't expect too much:-

Seriously too tired to flex hard. This new anabolic diet I'm trying out is giving me insane strength but my stamina is down the drain. I'll take pics on Monday again after the weekend carb loading.

really, pedro? that carb sensitive??
my first experience last weekend - whn i carb loaded i got "chubbier" and i look like im holding alot of water. but by tues or wednesday that all goes down after getting back on the hi fat hi protein. carb load is necessary on the AD/CKD to help with recovery smile.gif and keeps me sane lol

Burp! The fat is utilized as an energy source instead of carbs.

Further to Florian's wonderful description, DO NOT make your shoulders go all swirly during shrugs. I've seen some wankers pick up 10kg DBs and start shrugging like epileptics, making their shoulders rotate like some mad Wheel of Fortune apparatus.

+1 for heavy as heck shrugs.  smile.gif

Hey! Those are valid exercises. They're called dumbbell wanks.

you want a huge upper body..but you don't want to do deadlift..lol wink.gif

a good program target everypart of body. deadlift is a very good excercise to build huge back provided you have good form(start light!no one going to laugh you) when you hit certain poundage, it hits your hamstring, glute, quad, lats, triceps, forearms, traps, abs! try to google some pic/video of someone who deadlift heavy, looks at their muscle, it tense the whole body.

Is that Franco Columbu? I forgot how to spell his name. Amazing physique. He and Sergio's lats dominated. Better than Arnold's imo.

I just went back to ON Whey. Bought a 10lber off GNC during my mom's bday. We both bought RM2300 worth of supps but thanks to the 35% discount it got reduced to RM1600. Supps are expensive as hell here.

hmmm...i heard of ON whey 100% ....is that best whey protein by far???

i havent buy any of them yet.... planning to ......

i heard if you exercise too much by lifting weights etc. etc. you might lose some part of your muscle because the initial fat inside the muscle is consumed already . is that true???
*
I don't know about it being the "best brand" per se but according to Terry it is one of the better brands out there. ON, EAS, Designer Whey, etc. What you need is a product which gives you a bang for your buck. Think about it, 300 plus for a tub of Nitro, 180 for a tub of ON, you have leftover cash for creatine/BCAA or extra food.
