he score more than ronaldo this season in rm...defitinely one of underrated striker..
*
it's his job to score goals since he is the centre forward in real madrid

ronaldo is deployed as a winger ever since he plays in real madrid.so one of his job is to pass the ball to higuain in penalty box

but yeah higuain is under-rated.but i think it is because of his style of play(his style isn't as pretty as kaka or ronaldo).i think he has better future in english clubs(where goals is more important than they way it is scored)

how to perform if harry dont give a chance..surplus to team and only play because other striker injured..waste of talent..
*
he was given chance early in the season but can't perform, thats why drop to the bench and only when defoe out injure, he grabs the chance and score few goals to regain top spot ...

and ur bold statement is so funny ... means all bench players should leave their clubs to seek 1st team action.

tell us strikers that you think is as good as the A-list striker(Rooney, drogba, torres, tevez, etc) but doesn't get as much attention as them

bpl,spl,serie a,ligue 1,eredivisie,bundesliga,all are count

for me,it's going to be

1-bobby zamora:i think he is at par with tevez.and he should accompany Rooney in WC instead of heskey
2-bendtner-he's an unpolished striker but he is hardworking and can produce many good assists
3-berbatov-well...............i like him.his skill is great(like those you saw in la liga),but his ...umm,"effortless" style of play really drive Man Utd fans(including me) crazy

players from games are terrible to compare with sweat.gif

I agree on Saha. When Saha is fully fit, there are only 4 strikers better than him in EPL. Unfortunately for him, he doesn't seem to get fit very often.

btw ronaldinho got to be the single biggest underrated striker i can think of

he has become fit(almost) since he joins AC milan but dunga don't even consider him into brazillian WC team

he's just 2 years older than kaka and there's older footballers than him in dunga's team

Most people here only watch EPL  doh.gif

David Villa , Alexander Pato, Kun Aguero are great striker

Then i think people like you didnt read the thread title clearly..LOL doh.gif

Back to the topic, Bobby Zamora should be the top of the list....

And for the Berbatov, lol, manutd`s fans expect too much from him...
you know his playing style...
if anyone has to blame for his laziness, blame SAF, he is the manager who brought him in...
he himself should know that berbatov is a cool cucumber guy who dont run like Tevez or close down like Tevez...
Gotta accept his playing style yo~

The most underrated in EPL

Yakubu - seldom starts due to injury, but even when he's substitute, he's able to change the outcome of the game.

since when Ronaldinho is a striker? and since when he's underrated? He won the Ballon d' Or when he is in his prime and played with big clubs. rclxub.gif

For me :

EPL - Jason Roberts, Saha, Zamora, Kevin Davies, Eidur Gudjohnsen
La liga - Forlan, Giuseppe Rossi, Higuain

In Italy I think Pandev is overlooked since he played in a team with Eto'o as a co-striker and Vucinic of AS Roma.

I'm not so sure I'd classify Saha as being underrated. He was recognised for being prolific for Fulham, which I imagine is the reason Man Utd signed him. The fact that the richest club in the world wants you makes it a little hard for you to be under the radar. He has also represented France. If anything I think he will have underachieved by the end of his career because of injuries. Similarly, Eidur Gudjohnsen played for Chelsea and Barcelona, not small clubs by any stretch of the imagination. He just isn't a popular topic of conversation on these threads is all.

Zamora is having arguably his best season but in years before, I've seen him waste some guilt edge opportunities, bar his somewhat fortuitous goal against us a couple of seasons ago. Just like Bent, I'm not too keen on rating a guy unless he performs well consistently.

if a player just leave simply because lack of 1st team action, i dont think this is correct ... in fact this will ruin their career. they should work harder to win back the 1st team place ... good example is nani.

i start to confuse what means by underrated ?

seldom mention by media/fans = underrated ?

yakubu performance is so so only this season.

i think they mean it as player that score a lot goals but rarely gets a mention ...

that's not a fair way to look at a striker as there are a few kinds on em around ... the prima punta, secunda punta, trequartista, false nine
