tell us strikers that you think is as good as the A-list striker(Rooney, drogba, torres, tevez, etc) but doesn't get as much attention as them

bpl,spl,serie a,ligue 1,eredivisie,bundesliga,all are count

for me,it's going to be

1-bobby zamora:i think he is at par with tevez.and he should accompany Rooney in WC instead of heskey
2-bendtner-he's an unpolished striker but he is hardworking and can produce many good assists
3-berbatov-well...............i like him.his skill is great(like those you saw in la liga),but his ...umm,"effortless" style of play really drive Man Utd fans(including me) crazy

It is from the current season or any other in the past?

for me in EPL this season is : Darren Bent
- Just look at the statistic from him, 24 goals and playing with Sunderland. (1st season with Sunderland after leaving Spurs)

i don't think bent is underrated ... he's gonna score >20 goals per season for a 'small' club any season

the problem with bent is that he is too 1 dimensional ... he can't adapt to the way the team plays ... it is the team that has to adapt to him ...

that is why even though he scores so many goals, you don't see the so called top 4 teams or top european top teams bidding for him like mad ... i guess that is oso why he's out of tottenham

I rmb bent missed 2penalty shots instead of 3. Well. He's a normal as bendtner. Once again berba, no offence but he's currently a flop to manu.

crouchie for me.back when he was at southampton,he can easily bang goals for them.but now everybody is hoping for him to head the balls even though he can do more than that.

I think Kevin Davies deserves a place in this list. He doesn't get many goals but he often leads the line alone, providing a physical presence up-front for Bolton. He is a good header of the ball and his ability to hold up the ball, draws others into the game. Bolton are not known for their pretty football and Davies is a big reason why they are deadly from setpieces and long balls.

Bent. Can't remember exactly if this was right, but he scored a hattrick and didn't get into *first team selection for England?

I feel for him.

i thought he was bought as a first team striker to tag a long with rooney,
maybe i got it wrong,but to buy a 30m guy and consider him a 2nd striker,uhhh unsure.gif ....
MU is rich, prob can afford to do so.

as for bendtner he is not under rated nor over rated. just another average striker. as an Arsenal fan i do hope he grows.
we Arsenal fan's are somewhat force to rate him high prob because he is our only striker laugh.gif

as for bent, hmmm many questions being asked why is he not in top clubs
probably like spursfan mentioned his style of playing. for him who played so long in the BPL already and yet no top clubs signs him, he must have something that people dont fancy.

i personally feel atm, it is clear as it stands, no under rated nor over rated.
players like K.Davies he is good no doubt, but probably as good only as a top striker for clubs like Bolton.
but we will never know how they would perform if they sign for other top clubs.

berba is a flop also because his price tag ... 30m, should be 30 goals ++ like rvn ...

I think Berbatov is also underrated.... he doesnt score many goals doesnt mean that he is not good....

he has got some skills and his touch is superb....

Why only EPL strikers are being mentioned? What about la liga? I think freddie kanoute of sevilla is a good striker (although his age is 32)..currently being overshadowed by luis fabiano..

Not sure why tottenham go n sell him when he was doing so well at that club last time..
