Everyone knows Rafa is poor in man-management but to say that he left Liverpool because of Rafa is funny especially when the deal was concluded after RH was appointed.

If he truly want to stay, he will.In the end, it might be like what Everdying said, yossi is yo$$i.

I thought it was known long before Rafa was gone that Benayoun wanted to leave. The deal just concluded late. It's not just about the money. He's moving up, not down. Joining the champions, having regular CL football and the chance to win trophies, sure influenced him a lot. Even if he won't be a regular, just to be playing a part would be good enough for him. He's at an age where it would be downhill after this. He wants a few medals to show his kids, grand kids. Look at Gerrard a few seasons back. Almost gone as well. It's the same reason.

one after another former player came out and said the same thing about Rafa... yossi left after RH was appointed but the deal agreed since RB still in charge... when your boss want you out and the league champion offer you a contract, who wont take it?? (read this somewhere...)

It was also known way before Rafa gone that he is after higher salary and a new contract. So, it doesnt matter whether its rafa fault or not.He wanted a higher salary contract. So, his move to Chelsea, explains it all.

Torres wasn't really really reallyx1280321 poor in this World Cup. He doesn't have much time playing on the field. Villa was ahead of him in the lineup sad.gif

At least Torres got some assists, involved in Iniesta's ultimate goal, and unlocked defences for villa to score...remember David Villa chipped a goal from just after the half way line after the keeper tried to cleared the ball away from the rampaging torres?

He did have a better WC than most of the players in the Nike advertisements... Especially the ones with the blue jersey. tongue.gif

I hope he just have a minor hamstring pull...so at least he will be back in the cruncher against Arsenal. biggrin.gif
