QUOTE(vikingw2k @ Apr 19 2010, 07:43 PM) This is why I hate MF lenses especially during events. You are already rushing and pushing for the shot, yet you still need to MF to get the right focus risking your shots. With a good 85mm lens, you should be able to get results like this. ooo...can the lens fit my aplha300?sounds cool..haha...Aperture : f1.6, Shutter Speed : 1/800s ISO: 640 ![]() Hmm, comment on the noise or the whole picture itself? No offense but I don't see what you are trying to tell us in the picture. No la, told you guys bang for your buck. It's around RM1800-1900+-. Get this rather than investing on manual lenses risking your shots. Added on April 19, 2010, 7:49 pm Oops, sorry. Forgot still no A-mount yet. Flash, better grip or lens? Depends on ya need la. Which one do you need the most? p/s: I always lurk around in Photography's forum. wow..iso 640...i dare not go anything higher than 400..maybe should be more adventurous.. vikingw2k : Hmmmm I dono la. 3rd choice would most likely be extra flash la. Still dont need another flash. So it's either 50mm or VG. Both also got equal lust towards it. ):

Pray hard it'll come sooner or later. Real good lens. QUOTE(zstan @ Apr 19 2010, 07:51 PM) wow..iso 640...i dare not go anything higher than 400..maybe should be more adventurous.. ISO 640 is still acceptable la. If it's 6400 then it's another case Another one at ISO 640, Shutter Speed : 1/500s, Aperture : f1.4 ![]() p/s: Don't quote the pictures, spoiler them Added on April 19, 2010, 8:03 pm QUOTE(Kul | Mo0 @ Apr 19 2010, 08:01 PM) vikingw2k : Hmmmm I dono la. 3rd choice would most likely be extra flash la. Does different lenses with the same aperture at the same lighting condition and same settings affect the noise? For example ISO 400, and same settings. Taken with SAL 50mm f1.4, Sigma 50mm f1.4, SAL 35mm f1.4G, SAL 85mm f1.4ZA, Samyang 85mm f1.4. Got difference in noise?

noise is fr the sensor not the lens... i dun think changing lens will affect the noise.... but it will affect the resolution & bokeh
