zstan: you sure?? hehehe... no need la... previously used my a700@iso 1600 with Minolta 28-80mm f3.5-4.5 also OK wat... no need D3 la... hehehe... besides, indoor events I just use flash anyway, so, no issues... biggrin.gif just that with a f2.8 lens, there's more choices for me to use when it comes to Focal length and Aperture Value. can use aperture from f2.8-f22/f32 for any focal length depending on any situation... biggrin.gif in other words, flexibility! biggrin.gif

what is the weird purple blue dot thingy in pic??
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

i think the fuzziness could be because of flare? (correct me if I'm wrong) did you use a lens hood for this shot? usually happens to me when I'm not using a hood. same case for the other pictures.

Usually now before I do a shoot, I'd have the image in my head already... although the effects in my head usually are not built-in the camera/lens... so, need to photoshop also... tongue.gif and usually I'd use a zoom lens and imagine at what focal length would be best for my shot... biggrin.gif but the focal length I imagine is usually never correct anyway, so, a zoom with fixed aperture would always help coz then I can find the right focal length with the same lens! biggrin.gif

Matin is good one? Compare to Crumpler/Disgrace?
Need something that's all black, with less decoration (=

If the detachable one, durable enuff kah that?
Afraid later the lock can break.. And that's not good when u're hanging 7-8k of item on it~

Yes so am i. Dats y I'm looking for a reliable one. All black is preferable. Another reason is because I'm doing 'camouflage/masking' for both my alpha and naikon body~ want both bodies to be all-black~

Already cover all the details but the strap still shows the brands hehehe

Anyone uses the Octopus matin one? Planning to get it from shlow1819 later~ to complete the all-black theme for both bodies..

zstan, so u own a D3?

hazril , i dont really like the strap to be extra long. ideal length for me is when i sling my cam at the side, the cam clears my elbow effortlessly without me moving my arm out of the way for the cam to slide through. in other words, the cam is always at elbow's length away from my neck at all times. any shorter, it will tangle up in a twist lock with my arm when i wanna move it from side to front, any longer, it will be knocking against my crotch when i walk around with the cam hanging in front wink.gif
