oh I am aware of the A550. It's nice, my friend's using it (upgraded from A200) and i thought the button layout are good there. biggrin.gif

last time i would recommend people A200 cos it's a good camera, combined with twin kit + free workshop, it's a bargain.

now with A230........... it's a bit on the  sweat.gif side.
*
I totally agree bro. I still love my a200 even tho its super under utilized. On the a230, the grip is the worst part. For those who have fat fingers like me, u could forget a230 and get a550 instead. Better grip n hold. a200 FTW! lol~

I assume that lens gonna be as heavy as a 70-200mm f2.8. biggrin.gif
*
Maybe they're gona produce a super light weight glass by then. So it might weigh as light as a 50mm. Purely speculations. Funny. Hahah~

My only wish is they reduce the weight of 24-70mm f2.8 so that it'll be nicer to walkabout with rather than carrying a brick around. tongue.gif

Could train your biceps la. Not a bad way to exercise. An expensive way of exercise. HAhahahA~

Add a grip loaded with extra batteries, diffuser, flashgun and trust me, you don't feel like exercising anymore especially during a long marathon to cover an event. tongue.gif

You've got a point there. hahaha~

I dono how to ask myself dy. My brain bursting. ): Mostly people vote for lens le.
*
But it seems that u already have 1680Z. So your main purpose for the 50mm is for the bokeh rite? For the f1.4 smile.gif It depends on you actually. Grips let u have longer duration without charging and shoot vertically easier. smile.gif
