just switched over to digi smart this afternoon from maxis.

after listened to many horrible story of how things goes wrong from MNP due to billing issue, i decided to take the hassle to go down maxis and switch my postpaid to prepaid hotlink first, then head to digi to port in.

wondering if this move actually helps or would it worsen the thing. LoL

dun wait anymore, Digi won't be adding Desire to its line-up. In the end I got an AP set from Spore after wasted 1 month waiting for Maxis to expire the exclusive right to Desire and expected Digi has a plan for Desire.

The next phone Digi will push will be the Iphone 4. So the current Desire will definitely be shelved. But maybe they will launch the later Desire HD/HTC Ace later this year.

Now waiting Digi to upgrade their 3G network in JB before I jump ship.

I've heard that Digi gonna launch the Iphone4 right after Maxis is done with their 1month exclusive rights

Digi send me a SMS that they are giving away 10 BB Bold till 15 Aug for Smart Plan subscriber... I wonder how they work... lucky draw?

Digi Smart Plan new sign up RM28 for first 6 months... I wonder if this is possible with HTC Legend contract.

Just forget it la... I dont think Maxis got exclusive rights. Its just that Digi think they had a better bet with Iphone 4 than with Android phone because Apple fans are mad and they are willing to pay anything just to get their hand on Iphone 4.

got sms promo from digi now they have rm15 per week for internet access for prepaid. 15x4 = average rm60 per month?

may be a good deal for those not heavy call or data user!

Digi upgrading their 3G network in Melaka? Spotted in Melaka Raya, I was driving so I don't know how wide is the coverage. Managed to do a run on Speedtest, but didn't get a screenshot. I got a speed of 250kbps down stream, which is the limit for Prepaid users IINM. Just when I'm consider switching to Maxis, this might change my mind

I think so.. I used to be getting max out at 150kB/s. Now I can get 250kB/s or more when downloading from fast http. Nicely done... however not all site give the same speed and its not very stable yet.
