Sorry, no experience with this light, maybe the others can help out. Or you can join our dedicated forum [The Bright Side] and ask, I'm sure you'll get an answer.

Not sure where you can buy in Malaysia, but F-Stop lights (Google for them) of Singapore sells NiteCore and offers free shipping to Malaysia.

Hi there, Nyogel are hard to get locally here, the guys here bought it from overseas. There are other workable alternatives, check out our discussion @ the brightsideforums here = http://thebrightsideforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=302 The links and information are useful.

The LD10 has been a good light so far, consider it. You can buy and check out the specifications here:
http://www.lelong.com.my/fenix-ld10-cree-x...1-02-Sale-P.htm

Also, the lamp shade accessory for this model is also very good: http://www.lelong.com.my/fenix-camping-lam...1-02-Sale-P.htm Very useful when at night when you need some area lighting.

Just more info, the LD10 runs on a single AA, you can run it all night with the lowest mode. Do bring extra AA batteries too, if you happen to be hiking at night, you need the high mode more. Change batteries immediately when they start drop down in brightness greatly. If you are using rechargeable AA batteries like Eneloops or Imedions then your LD10 will love you. If you are using alkalines, use Energizer, Panasonic or IKEA batteries smile.gif

Cheers smile.gif

Dear all,

I wanted to buy Fenix PD31 R5 for my dad. My prob is the battery, I will prefer rechargeable, I tried to read about batteries but really confuse. So can someone point out to me:
1. it's best to use rechargeable 2xCR123 or 1x18650?
2. i read if mishandling of such battery will cause burn/explosion?
3. what's the thing i need to take in consideration when charging battery, ie after full charge must off switch immediately or can leave it there for few hours extra?

I come across battery in ebay such as this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...T#ht_3026wt_905
is it save to use?

Thanks in advance!
