What I do is this:
I wanna buy Deus Ex Collection - US$5
I also wanna buy X game that was on sale - US$10

But I stopped myself from buying because I know I have no time. That means I saved $15 already.

What can I do with this $15 that I saved.............. hmm... Assassin Creed 2 which is what I REALLY WANT TO PLAY is now cheaper by $15!

What a deal!

what if you already played the game before in the past, and you want to buy it now because you played it before in the past.

this is a good reason to make a purchase, yes?

Yes, repent for your sins of playing pirated copies previously.

It's good to pay at least something back to the developers after enjoying their products so long ago.

Also minus the headache you go thru if you want to patch a game you really like, since most crack will go dead after patching.

Then you have hunt for another crack which introduced more BSOD and you can't whine to anyone.

the most headache part is about old games

- May not support widescreen or 1080p

Well, if you really want to repent on your sins, buy the new games that is released by developer of your favourite past games. Buying the past games at this point in time does not matter because it's the greedy publishers who make the money. The developers has likely tar-pao-ed.

Eg.. Deus Ex - Ion Storm is the developers.. do they still exists? I am not sure.. but if you were to buy new games from Harvey Smith or Warren Spector now, you will be able to really help them and repent smile.gif

But I do agree.. we need to support the developers if we could afford it so they continue to build superb games such as Irrational (Freedom Force, Bioshock, SWAT 4), 2K Marin (Bioshock 2), etc

Added on June 23, 2010, 5:54 pmtsb has stock clearance.. unfortunately their website doesn't show what they are clearing.. any one has any idea?

Well if you want to help out Warren Spector, pick up a Wii and wait for Epic Mickey to come out.

Yes... Warren Spector's next game... is with Mickey... the mouse... From Disney... REALLY.

Not going to buy , because wlel its not my genre. Now I am hooked with ME/ME2. I am not going to buy some games on impluse. Gotta get good recommendation and it must match to my likings before embarking on that quest !

I can't keep on buying new games as I have already too many games as it is.

Only interested in very few games these days. Probably buy a few games such as Civilization 5, Fallout New Vegas and etc on release day.

Thanks to Steam, GOG, Impulse and etc. These days, I don't really mind having no physical copies of my original games anymore.

In fact, I added all my Blizzard games on to Battlenet so I can just download and install on every PC I have if I want to.

Need to get an external HDD to backup my games and maybe some DVD-Rs.

hhaha i've made a point to buy games that i wish i could afford back then and had piss S time to get it running after patch.

It feels good to buy ori games and not worry whether if i patch and not need find a crack for it..i regress to my previous post.

As for new games, only buy when i really intend to play it NOW. We would always have more games than we can finish with all these good bargains.
