Sounds like my kinda game.

Used to enjoy games like Blitzkrieg 1/2. Close combat series and combat missions

If you want to get a taste of Men of War without breaking out the bank, might I suggest picking up Soldiers: Heroes of World War 2 instead from TSB (RM30).

Its the first prequel to Men of War (Men of War is actually the 2nd sequel to Soldiers... The first sequel is Faces of War) and has roughly the same ideas but is smaller in scale and scope. So, if you like it, then Men of War should be right up your alley.

Yes, thx for the heads up! After looking it up, its vaguely familiar to me. I seem to remember going thru this or maybe Faces of war... terrible control/AI at that time maybe. I might consider picking up Soldiers tho steam is having it at USD4.99!!! or if lazy i guess i can get it at TSB. Steam says release at 2004 while TSB 2008 lol.

Anyone into Armor Sim? Like Steel fury: Kharkov 1942 or WWII Battle Tanks: T-34 vs. Tiger? I'm a sucker for those.. on my wishlist cry.gif

Men of War is only $15, and there's an official mod made by the devs of faces of war that ports all the faces of war missions to MoW.

It is a pretty good deal.

Can't seem to find the info that says they're porting FoW mods to MoW. Anyway, Steams has Mow: Gold edition which includes Red Tide...urgh decision! And i think another expac is coming.. Assault squad. hmm.gif Weird.. some site says vietnam yawn.gif

Yes, thought about that. But the MoW GE had a 66% discount back in January. Coming of the new xpac i figured its high time they're gonna go on another discount maybe? biggrin.gif

I'd prolly just get Soldiers and wait for MoW sales.. tahan a bit hahaha. I don't want to be buying MoW then red tide.. then discount come up ..urgh! Sooner or later i'd get it.. for now it's best i don't go on a spending splurge if i can help it hehe.

If you have maybank cherry card (visa debit card), you have to activate your Maybank Online Shopping(MOS) in the Maybank2u account. After you fill the online form, your card is ready to use  T_T

Also minus the headache you go thru if you want to patch a game you really like, since most crack will go dead after patching.

Then you have hunt for another crack which introduced more BSOD and you can't whine to anyone.

hhaha i've made a point to buy games that i wish i could afford back then and had piss S time to get it running after patch.

It feels good to buy ori games and not worry whether if i patch and not need find a crack for it..i regress to my previous post.

As for new games, only buy when i really intend to play it NOW. We would always have more games than we can finish with all these good bargains.

Made my mistakes

Not buying stupid games which people dont even bother to play online. Even there is its going to be once on a blue moon , unless its pretty cheap like Killing Floor then its a different question.
*
Exactly, i'm doing it right now. Not buying MP heavy games which has low support unless it has significant SP value as well. Tho its hard not to when it's at garbage bin price blush.gif
