Things to note in relation to deals on Steam:

1. There are generally two deals in a week (ie. mid-week deal and weekend deal)

2. Discounts ranges from 15% to 75% or sometimes, less than USD3.

3. Some games that have four packs or complete package sometimes do come with offers. So make sure you check at all times.

4. Try not to overspend on games deal. Buy what you can play.

I hope next week's mid week deal and weekend deal would be a lot better and much more tempting than those in March 2010.

Looks like MW2 offer got extended to Monday, they must be pissed that under the "Top Sellers" tab on the main store page they are still under BBC2 tongue.gif

Actually a bigger discount might persuade me more than an extra day.

Probably a lot of people already purchased CODMW2 but not BFBC2 at the moment.

Therefore, there are still more potential buyers for BFBC2 then CODMW2.

I think it's still BFBC2 is a better game as a whole.

People liked it,not only the casuals.MW2 is just a casual FPS at best.

getting torned up here....

MW2 sold at RM220 here, but the discount on steam combine with low convertion rate makes the game only about RM165. I dunno if im calculating it right as now i see $1 about Rm3.2. Do i need to check with my bank on the convertion rate policy?

Yes i tried the freeplay and i am aware of the hacks and sometimes shitty connection but i think i can live with that. Just look at all the guns...they are so shinny....

Yes, the foreign exchange rates used by the banks generally differs from what you get from the net and those money changers.

MW2 is being sold at RM200 nowadays not RM220. Also, there are people who are selling less than RM200 in Garage sale.

Finally, just make sure you buy and you play it extensively to get your money's worth.

are you sure its rm200? because i got mine a month after launch and it was rm190.

Read carefully, I did mention that there are people selling it for less than RM200. In fact, some people were able to buy it below what you got it for (ie. RM190) and yes, they bought retail copy as well.

I bought MW2.
Don't buy it.
Just... don't.
The constantly shitty connections (herp de derp 1 second bullet lag all the time), and the regular hackers (one day i played 5 rounds, 2 had hackers) make it a game not worth getting. Don't give the slave drivers Activision a single cent.
Trust me, buy it and you'll have fun for a week or so before deeply regretting your purchase.
