As for the ME2 dlc you need to get it separately from bioware. They have their own channel for selling the dlc content, that is most probably why steam doesnt sell the dlc. The Bioware does is that you need to buy bioware points from them in order to redeem the dlc; much like how GFWL does.

ME2 is definitely worth buying especially those that enjoy good story telling, something that you can't find in most movies and lots of books.

Gameplay wise, ME2 is much better than ME. Nevertheless it's HIGHLY recommended that you play ME 1st than ME2, if not you will miss out alot of detail in the plot.

FEAR1 both expansion doesnt support any reso larger than 1280 x 960
however, the main support 1680 x 1050 which i am using now

Lol.. of course u can't see anything higher than 1680x1050 resolution, considering yer 22inch monitor max supported resolution its only 1680x1050 resolution.

Cheers sweat.gif

Most wanted is far more better than Undercover

Anyone experience high ping when downloading through steam? When it's not downloading, i got 200+ of ping, but when it's downloading, it can shoot up to 2k+. Screw by my housemates because of this doh.gif

Sorry , steam once you buy , thats it. No refund what-so-ever. Once you buy it stays there forever. Thats why you should avoid impulse buying.

DA ? I've the retail copy , so I'll just skip

I got a solution for you guys. What I did is I bought it as a gift. When I really want to play it, I will gift it back to myself.
So... its ok to buy on impulse. Just buy as gift..

I dont think it works that way , when you purchase something from steam , it asks you wnat it to send as a gift or send it to you (aka purchase for yourself)

I've not tested using fake e-mail send gift and not claim it. Not sure how long that would last.

Nope , you dont have to own the game

For instance I've helped few KGMs (I dont do selling stuff lah , its just that i want to get few cc points) , I'll just buy on behalf and gift it. I've bought like umm FEAR and gifted it , but I dont own it

I find the sales on DAO disappointing personally, 25% on Xpac is fail in my opinion.

Guess will wait Xmas sales also for this, no way I pay 30usd for xpac only, I could have gotten ME2 yesterday for the same price...
