no harm you go to the maxis center and ask for them if you leave it to claim warranty, can they contact you instead of the first buyer, you are paying and buy the phone from others, not doing anything illegal

(it is outright purchase, not tie with any iValue plan)
for maxis i4 warranty claim, it will be 2-3weeks, if you stay at KL, it might be faster
i have friend claimed warranty on i4 from maxis Penang, need to wait 2-3weeks, although it is 1-1 exchange
p/s: if someone buy i4 for his gf, and his gf send the i4 to claim warranty? who will maxis call
