Sometimes Maxis may not give you a new replacement unit, they might send it to Apple Singapore Factory to repair it.

If this is the case, it might take weeks.

Bring the service card of course... If you have jailbroken then you must restore it before you send it in.

Loose or sunken home button are just common issues, what about stiff and hard to press button?

Does anyone here having issues with the iPhone 4 volume buttons being stiff and hard to press?

The + or up volume button makes a clicking noise once I pressed it, but the - or lower button is really stiff, makes no clicking sound and doesn't feel like its being pressed, although the phone does react to the press. Well, what should I do for it?

Wow Vez! refurbished! Haha.

Anyway my i3G still lying around due to home button prob, maybe I'll replace the parts someday, easily to get from ebay. No time to DIY due to work.

Lesson learned. Gotta be gentle on i4. Hopefully the button will last abit longer, I hope. lol

you should try your luck at Digi smile.gif if you feel it is annoying, cause some people do not bother, as the button still functioning (still responsive)

I have a friend send back to Maxis just one day using i4

Malaysia i4 Model Number should be MC***MY, when Maxis give my friend a so called "new" set from Maxis, the Model Number no longer MC***MY, it is *******, totally different, not even a single character match biggrin.gif i do not know whether is it the model number telling us that it is replacement set (new? or refurbished?)
