easy!

just connect live to 1, neutral to 2.

look for the original lamp switch, connect the bottom (non-live) wire and connect to 4

the original wire that connect to the switch (that goes to the lamp) now connect to 5

You mean from the current manual switch, I should have 4 cables?

Hi Peow Yong,

I have done my switch timer and it is working fine now.

You need neutral to get the device to work because without the neutral the clock wouldn't work.

Here is the wiring
1 - Neutral
2 - Live
3 - <Nothing>
4 - Live
5 - Wire to light

FYI, in the current switch, there must have 2 wires (In & Out). In is the live & Out is the wire to light. To test which one is live, please use a test pen.

Does this mean if I have a light switch, with only 2 wire (live + wire to light) and no neutral (typical of all light switches!!), it will not work? All the wires are usially concealed in the wall... how to get a neutral line?

No, you can't as the clock in the timer would operate without the neutral.

how many timer depend on your wiring.

if those 3 wiring connect from same source from DB...u just need 1 timer next to DB box.

if those 3 light under 3Gang swtich then it should need 1 timer only.

you need to ask wiring man to do it.

i did ask my wiring to do for my front entry door....but he say need to put out another 1 cable out...so i din ask him to do it.
