hager compare with    Schneider 24H 16A ANALOGUE Time Switch / Timer With Reserve CCT15101....

which one recommend ? schneider price lower a bit ..

thanks ...

I never use Schneider timer before.

Base on spec, Hager has 200hr recharge battery standby. Compare Schneider 24hr only.

Guys,

I also bought one Hager EH711. Going to install the timer beside car porch switch. Any idea how to hide the wires going in and out of the timer and make it look tidy?

Tell us, where you get the

1) blue wire line ? It supposes to be neutral. Can confirm it is a neutral line?
2) brown wire tap from where? From the switch ? Is the switch ON?
3) which model you buy ? from the manual, it has 2 models. Which another model is 24vdc.
4) Is the number follow correct?

Hi bro,

Earlier on this topic conversation, someone mention the wiring should be like this
1 - Neutral
2 - Live
3 -
4 - Live
5 - Wire to light

#2 and #4 can tap together

I'm a bit confuse with the connection. When I check my switch there's only live wire.
Is that means I need to pull one neutral wire from main box and connect to #1 on the timer ? How about #5, do I need to pull one wire from light connect to #5 ?

Can some one share to me the correct connection (with pic if you can)
Current light connection sample as per picture

Thanks & Regards

I bought the Schneider CCT15101 timer (24 hr reserve) for RM79 from Houses of Lighting.
Installed it in parallel with a regular 1 way switch so I can turn my porch light on anytime, and it will auto-on my lights between 7pm -7am.
But I realize I cant turn off my lights during 7pm-7am without meddling with the timer time settings.
On the timer itself it only has 2 way selector: Option #1: Permanent on mode & Option #0 : Automatic mode...
But there is none to off ..
How to enable to also have the option to off the lights at night?

I have long switched to smart switch already.
Get rid of the old fashion Hager or Schneider timer.

Here for those no idea where tap a neutral wire for the timer.

Original is just 1 switch with no neutral in my storeroom. I modify it to 2 switch with a timer beside and take the neutral wire from the light. As you see the trunking running to the light. The light and switch is for outside backyard light. If locate at hall, don't use this way. The trunking freaking ugly. He.....

Those who wants to operate two electrical appliances one after another at different timing.  Especially playing 2 amplifiers alternately in the bird house.
