i like my moss now though, but then just hate the dead leaf part.
my water need to refill everyday, so if i put with water level will be very hard cause it will have bubble...

Err didnt spend much on the 'ferts' lol..

In marine its not ferts liao.. its much more of micro foods , macro foods, zooplex etc. chemicals like strontrium, magnesium, calcium, iodine.. gotta maintain gh/kh, calcium, pH well, and most importantly.. NO copper haha..

First 3 months for that tank was bumpy..

4th months onwards, my water change regime is 30% every 3 months LOL!!!

Marine would have LESS maintenance than planted . but start-up is $$ ..

just bought a flourish nitrogen and phosphorus. rm36 each. 72 bucks gone.

I bought some riccia and java moss and put them into the tank.. but the shrimp become a bit sot sot 1??do you all directly put in new plant into tank??

I do that... nothing wrong.. wait for experts to answer... Anyways, I found a bunch of Brazillian Microsword amonst my HM plant which is covered by algae but the sword is still nice.. replanted them... I thought they went extinct from my tank some time ago... oooo my amazon sword growing nicer.. all the leaves are above water surface one..

i also using 3388 filter... this is what i did to my inlet pipe..



i didnt chop any part la.. jz didnt use the long intake pipe... replaced it with some what similar diameter pipe... but whenever got no suction (such as power failure), the intake pipe will drop down... haha... 2 of my guppies lost already, mayb inside the canister filter now...

you use africana? my africana like pucat pucat 1...
