co2 to plants are like oxygen to human!

theres plenty of co2 in the atmosphere, but theres not much in water

co2 tanks actually supplies the plant with co2 underwater

opppss... forgotten natural need....
Plant produce o2....

But if i got plenty of fish...? But common sense, it wilnt enuf for those plant....

yeap! all of em need co2 tanks.. but u see in the pictures there noco2 or filter equipments because they take it out for photoshoots..

for the fishes, actually when we introduce co2 into the tank, we inntroduce only certain levels of co2 into the tank.. how do we check the levels? basically with a CO2 DROP CHECKER

the liquid in the drop checker will show u what the levels of co2 in the tank by looking at the color of the liquid!

we control basically by the BPS method, Bubbles Per Second. some tanks only need about 0.5bps and some tanks go up to 5bps!

with this we control the co2 input and still have enough oxygen in the water column for the fishies!
and dont forget, the plants too will produce oxygen for the fishies!

here it is.. we call it "pearling"

diy is actually Do-it-Yourself co2..

while now I use co2 tank



DIY is actually mixing Yeast with sugar which its reaction when mix will release co2!so we do this


for some who cant afford to get a rm300 co2 pressurized tank, they DIY by mixing 2cup of sugar and 1spooon of yeast, pour into a bottle, let the chemical reaction produce co2! and voila! harvest that co2 and direct it into the tank

so yeah ive been using the DIY method for a year before i actually went out and bought co2tank
