88 sunwaymas got pingpong balls wrapped with moss. Not marimo balls tongue.gif

Added on May 18, 2010, 4:39 pmThis guy potong some marimo balls to create his aquascape. Quite cool, but a bit sakit hati to see the cute balls being cut in this manner tongue.gif

And I just read a really funny post called:
My purpose in life is to grow Marimo Balls. That fella just wanna propagate them and grow them big and round.

Hahahaha. I think I'm addicted too.

Where can I get a metal rack suitable for my tank such as in the photo below? Which LFS have them?

The steel rack can be found in most LFS. Just ask them. I know in 88 Sunwaymas and Natural Aquatics and Irene Aquarium should have them.

Just sharing with everyone here. Although I bought a 2 feet tank last weekend from NA, I got started on my small 15L tank instead. Taking my time on the 2 feet hopefully I can plan it carefully.

Anyway here's the small tank. Got myself some HC (I think they are HC, LOL!) and mini pelia glued to the driftwoods. Initially i used a gel type glue but it couldnt stick well and left a white residue, so I quickly change to super glue.

The first time setting up a canister filter (resun cy20) was struggling with it, as well as all the messy power cables for this and my other 20L tank. Almost wanted to give up trying to attempt so many tanks at the same time, but few hours later was rewarded to see the HCs pearling! icon_idea.gif

Better get styrofoam instead of newspaper at the bottom of the tank. Coz newspaper can't repel water. I'd be very careful about the power sockets being so close to the tank as well.

But interesting layout with the driftwood. Should look really good once your lawn starts filling up.

Seems like your filter is placed at the same level as your tank. Just need to make sure there's no electrical items below it, else IF your filter leaks, it won't affect anything other than your floor.
