Yes Doc I currently own a Dustbuster Pivot which I bought from ACE Hardware @ Midvalley Megamall for around RM250. Im quite a gadget freak so I'm currently searching for the DYSON one cos the suction power on that one is the BOMB. The one I have has a TURBO mode as well but it only allows 8Minutes of usage with a full charge. I don't have a link cos I didn't do research on the price except reading the specs at the B&D webbie.

I agree that the ASUS is crazy expensive so I advised my friend to go ALIENWARE or wait a while and see if the internals for AW Changes.

I Haven't tried 3D Gaming but I have played METRO 2033, RE5 and BATMAN ARKHAM ASYLUM in 2D and I heard they have it in 3D. Would love to see METRO and RE5 in 3D plus also L4D2 which I play online a lot nowadays.... tongue.gif. But pity that our local ISP's internet speeds suffer and Im constantly laggin behind the Japs/Singaporeans etc.... I predict a new line of 3D Capable Lappies from the MOTHERSHIP  notworthy.gif
Sorry to hear that bro. But don't abandon us here. Since you have a few units of AW, You'll always be part of our SPECIES. Do us a favor and review the SAGER you get in the future.....  icon_rolleyes.gif

HELLFIRE8888! Welcome to the Species. You're on the list on pg.1 !!! smile.gif

Woah, long time no see since I bought my Alienware M11x.
Here is a picture of my Alienware M11x with my Alienware External Monitor 21.5".

The super reason of why you should buy M11x + Alienware External Monitor is because you can do just like the above picture.

Other external monitor DO NOT HAVE HEIGHT ADJUST-ABILITY and thus you cannot put both your laptop and monitor face-front.

The only other monitor from Dell which allow height adjust-ability is Dell UltraSharpTM 2209WA which cost RM759. This Alienware monitor of mine cost RM1k, but due to my enthusiasm of using Alienware product... RM250 extra is NOTHING... lol... since I am going to look at the monitor 10 hours a day for the next 3-5 years.

And if we were using M15x or M17x, it will be too big even with height-adjustable external monitor.

So my conclusion is Alienware M11x + Alienware External Monitor = Ultra Combo.

now i always wanted to get a suitable external monitor for the M11x without sacrificing its backlit keyboard by getting another external keyboard (was planning to go for BenQ 922HDL or Dell ST2210 with Logitech G110) but looks like the Alienware OptX AW2210 and Dell 2209WA are great alternatives. smile.gif

You see, by getting height adjustable external monitor, you can actually save space + see more since you can use 2 monitors now. No need to put your laptop on the side and buy another keyboard for it too.

Also, this reduce the accumulation of dust on your desk since you will have less wire.

It only has the SU4100 and SU7300 clocked at 1.3GHz stocked and can be OC'ed to 1.73GHz which is "good" enuf.. smile.gif

M11x has its reason to have such specs.. M11x is great for people who are always on the move.. smile.gif

hi there,

i've been wanting the m11 x for quite some time but the CULV proc seems to hold me down. I do understand that 3D games are heavily depending on the graphic card which i think the nvidia 335m is sufficient for me. but then, i do play games that are proc based like warcraft 3(correct me if warcraft 3 is not proc based), so is the CULV processor enough to run it? like when you're controlling the massive number of army and all, does it lag or anything.

anyway, i really like the design of the m11 x. seeing all the pics in this thread just makes me wanna get it now.
