I think my M15x was the only one giving the most problems. The others seems to be fine or their issues for their notebook is not as serious.... smile.gif

To install the latest 197.16 official drivers on a M11X u need to go to ur bios, set ur graphics to discreet, then only u can install. IF u use the hybrid u can't install it, forever u will get error coz the intel graphics will interfere with your graphics. And even if u can make it work u can't switch ur gpu anymore. I tried this on a M11x.  tongue.gif
Running the 197.16 3dmark got around 64xx gain from 61xx, was tested on a demo unit with a SU4100 processor. The memory only 3gb, duno if it would make any more diff if 4gb.  drool.gif

ram don't make any differ in benchmarking. well at least for 4GB vs 8GB

QUOTE(putochip123 @ Apr 15 2010, 03:40 PM)
even a noob like me also know how to handle, they are pro tech, no problem 1, some more they go for training 1

i just bought a m15x recently, and i have this problem i cant seem to solve it.
i am always using my razer deathadder mouse, everytime i unplug it, the touchpad doesnt work, tried using Fn+F12, the touchpad blinked and thats it.
tried disabling my razer mouse, its still the same, anyone had this issue before?

check alientouch.. i think ur default setting is that when an external mouse is plugged in, the touch pad is automatically switched off. or try re-installing the touchpad driver.

Added on April 15, 2010, 10:55 pmoops... sry.. wrong interpretation >.<

try reinstall the touchpad driver?

both primary and secondary GPU :
GTX 280M SLi
each of this powerful gonna cost you ~>RM 2150 (>USD600)
thus, RM 2150 x 2 = >RM 4,300, just for GPU ( i just realized that fact) sweat.gif

shocking.gif Remarkable! I'm really astonished with your mounting high courage to do it yourself. How you can do it? Any expert views before we can "operate" our laptops by ourselves?

bah. i am too lazy to study last night and all the games had been finished. so i take this opportunity to know my beloved deeper than its surface! laugh.gif

opinion : aaaa? just do some research a bit before operating it up. its much better than operate it blindly. its kinda tricky if you don't know the structure underneath each part in the first place. for examples - the SLi bride that i mention aboved & wires that connect my keyboard to mobo. usually there is only one wire (the black one) but Alienware have 2 wires (+ yellow/orange). so if you just open it up blindly, you might snatch the yellow wire and no more bling-bling sweat.gif
