meh with a laptop this size...i3 is good enough for me...

I actually like it with this processor. I dont think I can find any other laptop that I can play Heroes Might and Magic 5 for 5 straight hours on my recent trip to Penang. That game can run with the highest settings on the integrated graphic, so I dont have to switch on the performance mode. They are trying to save power here, thus the low powered CPU is implemented.

Although I do pity my brother who drove the car for 5 straight hours. hehe

same here death. my 3d06 just cant reach 6k. mayb something is bottlenecking the performance. i oc my cpu, but not gpu.. cuz dunno how

and the maximum i got was yesterday nite, 5995... i ran twice, first wans 58xx. then shut down let it cool down awhile. run again it become 5995.. cant go any higher anymore. sighz.. off everythin including antivirus, realtek, every usb disconnected edi..

lol i dun get y izit so important to get 6k 5995 and 6000 doesnt make any diff...

well , you guys dont put to much stress into scores la , if your game is running smoothly , thats good enough d xP its just afew hundred points , not like half its performance or something ...

haha... okay... i just envious for those who got 6.5k and above.. esp those with 7k.. haha..

yeap. i was doing kinda deep research about 5870 CF once its appear in laptop gaming field, but the answer is still no.

so better wait for something better, like single 5950 or GTX480M SLi to upgrade (just estimation)

the the temperature how? i mean if u use gtx480. i heard ppl saying that the temperature can go very high..

mobile is not out yet , but the desktop 1 is darn hot and energy consuming ...

actually what r the differences between desktop and laptop gpu? performance different rite? what else.. apart from the size and heat management.

how far is the performance difference? isit like very far? lets say compare desktop gt 335m to laptop gtx280. so will they be on par?

Ok i manage to install nvidia latest driver 197.16 and I can switch between intel graphic
i think ..i should call this lksing78 graphic driver ...hahahaha

here's the trick
download Nvidia driver from Dell web Here
download Nvidia latest driver from Nvidia web Here

1.extract Dell driver to ur c:/ ...don install them just yet..just exit by click cancel
remember this part c:/Dell/drivers/R253896/display

2.now extract the nvidia driver that u download from nvidia web
so ur extraction will be on c:/NVIDIA/DisplayDriver/197.16/Winvista_Win7_64/international

3.Now copy all files inside c:/NVIDIA/DisplayDriver/197.16/Winvista_Win7_64/international and paste them inside
c:/Dell/drivers/R253896/display
replace them with the new one

4.uninstall nvidia graphic from the control panel (in nvidia Graphic mode)
(I'm gonna skip this part cause i assume u guys know how to uninstall a software or a driver)
restart ur alien lappy

5.after u successfully restart ur lappy go to c:/Dell/drivers/R253896 ,there u can see setup.exe
click them to install ur new display driver

hmmm... the new driver improve anythin significantly onot..? im noob xD

hehe.. if not much improvements, then i may just leave it to the old version... hope to hear some goodies from iksin xD

hard to compare different cards ... but if u were to put 280GTX for mobile and desktop , yes there is a huge difference in performance.

A Gtx 280 is only a 9800Gt in desktop..
