QUOTE(maolnorlexu @ Apr 13 2010, 04:55 PM) Hey guys.. juz wanted to know. are M11X suitable enuf for hardcore gaming and graphic/video job? the usual skewed interpretation of HARDCORE GAMING.you can be a hardcore gamer even on a low-spec machien running low details and all laaaaa. anyway I've just tested the M11X. 1366x768 reso. can run Crysis (not Warhead) on Medium details 0xAA just fine. with that, this means you get to run most games just fine with the GT335 GPU. processor wise it's lacking, so expect not so stellar loading time and lack juice on processor dependent games. |

sorry forgot to state - er, my benchies file not here now. LOL. average i remember is 20++ la. between 20 to 25 if not mistaken. that's for Crysis.
so for games like COD:MW2 it'll be better. games like BF BC2 bleh, i think it'll crawl as well so have to turn down details lower. IINM BF BC2 feels like it stresses more CPU power than MW2 too. HAWX shouldn't be a problem la since the graphic is not so demanding. Added on April 13, 2010, 5:15 pmi think nicest part about the M11X is the color changing Alien FX thing. |

QUOTE(maolnorlexu @ Apr 13 2010, 04:55 PM) Like what the other forumers have stated, and what GLODFRIES has as well, I think what you are referring to is the level of graphic quality for the recently released titles. You won't be able to max out the Graphic settings for the games, seeing that even the M15x is defeated by quite a number of titles, but you will be able to enjoy smoother gameplay at lower setting at the expense of Anti-Aliasing and effects/shadows....QUOTE(GreatOni @ Apr 13 2010, 04:56 PM) The price for which it was sold was around the region od USD$450 which is the high RM1.xK here in Malaysia after a conversion rate of roughly 3.25QUOTE(goldfries @ Apr 13 2010, 05:08 PM) the usual skewed interpretation of HARDCORE GAMING. I think the M11x can handle games based on the latter rather than the former. for the M11x (some sites call it netbook) - it certainly can game better than any of the notebooks / netbooks out there. seriously la, you try any other onboard GPU (even the one on Core i3) they can't even run Crysis properly at 1024x768 with low / medium details. the M11x is as it is - portable gaming. the most common perception about the m11x is that just becoz it can play crysis at a decent framerate, it can also render images in photoshop at lightning speed. that's why the same question gets asked over and over again.

if they put i3 ,then the demand will be
" I wish they put i5 in there instead of i3" when they put i5 "I wish they put i7 ,cause they perform more then i5" the next thing u know ...the price goes up "Haiya so expensive lah cannot afford to buy" Me i'm satisfied with SU proc ..as i don gaming 24/7 M11x is just companion for me when i'm traveling..still playing CS lol to kill time in the hotel room and browsing when i'm not gaming.....wah sound like advert on TV This post has been edited by lksing78: Apr 13 2010, 05:55 PM |

At least SU with Intel Graphic allow me to have a 8 hour battery life. Loss that but gain this.
