QUOTE(Mr.Docter @ May 22 2010, 05:59 PM) by self-replace, you mean you upgrade the system personally right? self-replace = upgrade system personally, yes exactly what i mean.so nope. your warranty is limited to your initial specs. only RAM and HDD is the upgradable part. i email head of technician a years ago when wanted to upgrade my processor from Q9000 to QX9300. but Putochip123 claimed is can be done under the warranty. i don't know about that, but what i know my source is kinda solid to be trust, not just by word. but i am thinking is, what if my mobo or proc was faulty (let's say, by end of this year once the M11x refresh was launched), will Dell replace a new mobo with the i3/i5 proc (assuming SU7300 is longer in production)? QUOTE(ff8ong @ May 22 2010, 06:07 PM) Luckily i didnt bought it last few week lower clock speed & performance? we gotta wait for the real thing to launch to validate that statement, mate. But what i hear is ULV i5 have lower clock speed and performance compare to OCed SU7300. Not sure how true is that. anyway, the new i3/i5 refresh don't really affect me that much as tbh i am quite happy with my current configuration. except when i plan to game & stream a video in the background. |

ya de, M11X R2 won't come out too early bah.
High chanced tat it would be anounced at E3. But doesn't mean it gona be released on the same month either. I target next year or 2 more year. (but M11x wif new mobo, new vid card, i procesor, doesn't tis kill the fact m11x are more to long duration battery type?) |

QUOTE(HarrionX @ May 23 2010, 01:44 AM) but u prefer more to the proccesor or graphic card being changed to a better one?? either one is fine for me. but the answer is surely bias more for GPU since its the stress source when gaming.i mean..pick one. tat effect more of ur gaming fps n bla bla speed =D (i din't know anything much bout pc actualy. haha) but remember, we are talking about M11x right now. GT335M is already shocking enough can be equipped within it, stable in term of performance and heat. |
