mind sharing with me software that incompatible with Vista or 7, but ok with XP?

the fella mac book is running windows what do you think ?

i thought 7 is better in terms of softwares..

i don't know... too lazy to express my honest opinion.

anyway, here is the rough idea.

The software i need to use for work only can run in window xp. If wanna get new version to run window 7 need to spend another 1k++ USD for latest version.

ahh i see. so back to your root question, you can just install XP and find the installer in the Dell's website.

yet, i don't know wheter all the installer is complete, since XP itself will be stop its production.

u can install virtual pc to use the windows xp inside your win 7 or install vmware to run xp in your win7..

now i am running linux, win2008 server and win 7 at the same time..yeah

when will alienware refresh their models?it seems refreshing is rare for them....coz i was hoping to have an option to choose gc,like 5850 or 5870

and i think they should include at least 1 usb 3.0 port

well, personnally using USB3.0 and Sata 3.0, nothingg much different, unless u test the benchamrk....

For example, like Core i 720QM, price at $364(currently market), but for the engineering sample is much more expensive at $500
when intel done thier engineering sample, they will send to china, they tell china, i wan $300 budget to make Core i7 720QM per Proccessor.
Even intel Ask China to use $200 to make a Core i7 720QM also can, of course intel wont, cause later got problem, intel company sure bankarpt....

Something make by china is even better than retail 1

5850 is already present for M15x.

well as i said before, different strokes for different folks.

i did meet someone who is saying my M17x looks butt ugly. i'd just smile, sorta respect his opinion. it won't cost me cent.

i am not protecting Dell or Alienware, but please wake up and look around yourself.

recommend any good notebook sleeves for m15x? cant seem to find one that fits nicely.
