I'm very2 tempted to OC my N900 now but still afraid of my getting my phone fried after few months. For those who have oc-ed their computer you should know that some oc could kill your computer after several months. Is there any kind of assurance that with this OC setting this phone can run fine, lets say for 1 1/2 years?

Have you enabled/add the additional repositories? I believe aspire have provided the guide in first page.Added on April 10, 2010, 12:14 am QUOTE(Andy214 @ Apr 10 2010, 12:10 AM) Install load-applet for icon beside battery. Install System Info Widget to show: Processor Usage Ram Usage You can find these app in App Manager, I think under Desktop category. If not use the Search function in App Manager. OCing wouldn't kill your hardware after a few months. If its going to cause problems it'll cause problems soon after your OC (meaning your hardware can't handle the OC). If it works, it'll likely last you a long long time. |
