Many people are extremely unhappy with Unifi caps. Let us boycott it until they reasonably increase the cap or drop it.

U guys still remember when TMnut first launched the 4MB and price at RM268(somewhere around that price range), and nobody bothers to subscribe it so ended up they forced to launch the RM160 combo deal for 4MB.
So please don't subscribe the Unifail eventhough they provide free installation. |

Try watching 720p Youtube videos. You'll see your usage go up. The 4 Mbps package has no cap at all at RM 160. Boycott Unifi!!

QUOTE(Aggroboy @ Mar 25 2010, 01:23 PM) This is a ridiculous argument. The reason HSBB is created is to cater for online content, which includes online HD content, which is not necessarily delivered through your IPTV. So you'll easily hit that 2GB/day limit with 5mbps. EASILY. You don't have to be a pirate to hit those rates. |

QUOTE(silverhawk @ Mar 25 2010, 01:28 PM) This is a ridiculous argument. i gotta admit, thats true mang. I think i'll go with 10Mbps if 5Mbps's cap is insufficient. The reason HSBB is created is to cater for online content, which includes online HD content, which is not necessarily delivered through your IPTV. So you'll easily hit that 2GB/day limit with 5mbps. EASILY. You don't have to be a pirate to hit those rates. Although honestly I'd love it if they increase the cap by 10-20GB for each package but hey, its an improvement from Streamyx nonetheless! |

Since you're a trial userhow much do you use roughly? Not counting trying to smash through their limits |

I think that is reality, it will be capped.
If you don't want to be capped, apply for biz package. Without capping, you can download a maximum of 6480GB per month (with 20Mb Plan). You think TM allows you to download 6TB of data by paying RM249? What we can protest/hope is for TM to increase the bandwidth. I would be happy if they double it, 120GB -> 240GB, just nice for me.
