Do we still have standard package? Really, if that is so, that's even worse. That price was for combo package.Unifi Official TM UniFi High Speed Broadbrand Thread V3, UniFi website, pricing, packages & FAQ !

First of all, why do we need high speed? Because we're heavy users. If we're casual users, we wouldn't need high speed. The low cap just killed the purpose of having high speed.

QUOTE(mralienv2 @ Mar 25 2010, 03:11 PM) the problem now is the capped limit they provide us. like others existing broadband services like maxis n celcom. they have a capped bandwidth limit. this is why im sticking to my streamyx with unlimited download bandwidth even though its not so reliable. im a heavy internet user myself. i download a lot. n i dont think they should include the iptv in the package. because not everyone own a hdtv. Eventually they will CAP Streamyx too. |

QUOTE(khd229 @ Mar 25 2010, 03:04 PM) But if you look at the whole picture. The price is a joke. BTW i cant complain too much , coz i been using FREE 512kbps for almost 2 year ++ ..384k - RM60 512k - RM90 1M - RM110 2M - RM140 4M - RM160 5M - RM150 10M - RM200 20M - RM250 Seriously, with introduction of HSBB, we should enjoy 1MB at RM60. I don't mind 512k at RM40 though. they didnt disable my port after i terminate...so im using other ppl accounts to online |

last time, they didnt reduce the Streamyx package price except for promotion deal
what they do is, they just upgrade the package, & the new upgraded package will take the old price while they introduce new higher speed package its just like climb a ladder...it means that, if u use 512kbps now, next time maybe you will be upgraded automatically to 1mbps but you will still pay the same amount of bill as before, while 512kbps maybe will be eliminated from TM package...the 1mbps will takeover the old 512kbps price... so, i think it wont be any price reduction, except maybe for special promotion QUOTE(alvinool @ Mar 25 2010, 03:15 PM) BTW i cant complain too much , coz i been using FREE 512kbps for almost 2 year ++ .. damn lucky you...they didnt disable my port after i terminate...so im using other ppl accounts to online This post has been edited by keown83: Mar 25 2010, 03:17 PM |

What they should do is introduce 4 speed package and from there let user choose how many data they want.
1MB, 5MB, 10MB and 20MB 1MB - 40GB, 60GB, 100GB 5MB - 40GB, 80GB, 150GB Well, something like that. You guys get the idea right? But of course, it can't be implement now since HSBB is only for few areas for now. |

can't see any fair reason for capping the line... what for? to scare potential customer away? won't they be waterfalled with cash if they pulled the cap off and put reasonable pricing?
stupid people.. |

If you look at the packages though, it's FREE calls to fixed line nationwide.
Time to start abusing that, free calls nationwide to fixed line is a good thing. Besides, like some pointed out, even if the packages are expensive NOW, by the time your areas is able to support HSBB, it might be lower price already. The reason streamyx won't go down, since those areas have no choice but streamyx anyway. I still don't see how people complain about usage cap and all that when most are downloading illegal stuff anyway. Those that do legit downloads, they limit down the speed, meaning that you've already downloaded over the cap. So you're getting current streamyx download. And never fear, it's confirmed that streamyx users are also gonna get capped. Other countries are also doing it mah, so we have to follow.. |

Exactly,if you are not heavy user,1MB would be enough for your email checking.My dad will never complain about slow internet as he only check emails. So you take 60GB,you'll get like 2GB a day. Once you exceed that,oh,gg for the rest of the day.Worse than Australian peak and off peak.
