btw,MGS3DS maybe just a tech demo,
maybe a new MGS will build from scratch

Considering how hafez has been complaining he has not gotten any news on 3DS.

It is true that we will only know release date and the price in end of September.

Now, for a bit more juicier news for all of us in Malaysia.

It is highly possible that I will be GETTING THE 3DS ON DAY 1 OF ITS LAUNCH. There has been no real guarantee since Nintendo has not made an announcement, but I am putting my faith in my suppliers that not only will I be getting it on Day One, they will also be Official Malaysian Units.

So everyone, pray/fingers crossed, lets hope it really happens, because I myself will be in for a real treat (and also hopefully, with a real demo of the 3DS itself).

Now now guys, its still not completely final, but after going through SMG2 (received even BEFORE launch date) and Dragon Quest IX (Supreme rarity of Square Enix games in Malaysia, and CHEAP), lets all have some faith and wait together for 29th September 2010.

What I would like to request is have a demo unit to show to people on how this might just be a truly amazing machine.

I'm guessing the price would be between 179 - 199 USD at launch... Though it will NEVER go beyond 199.
Seeing how the DS launched at 149 USD and DSi at 169 USD with all the added techs and stuff to the 3DS, it'll most likely be 199 (623.70MYR).

So in our currency it will be approximately 561.33 - 623.70

Quite cheap if you ask me... But since we don't have official releases in our country and have to pay shippings and rates.. well... 800MYR for a new unit?

Just speculations, still 2 weeks from 29th and I can't stop shaking my knee right now... >.>

Anyway, gotta save up now. Better to ask someone you know over at the states and ask them to buy. Could save a little.

Actually, it might. remember, niche technology and high demand generated also creates something unpleasant among consumers.

It's already announced that it won't go any higher than 199... Someone from Nintendo said, at least I think its someone from Nintendo...Can't remember the source.

High demand or not, its not like Nintendo to make over priced SH**.. thats Apple's and Sony's gig.

But Wii launch price is 250$... 50$ more that the expected price of 3DS. So I doubt it will go over 999.

imo,3ds would b around RM800... incomparing between ndsl n ndsi,the hardware different is not tat much if were to compare with 3ds which have 3d as well as better grafic... i remember reading somewhere that rumour 3ds is around 20k~25k yen... anyway,we wouldnt know until nintendo release more info about it at end of the month... btw,latest rumour 3ds will b release in november...

i bet my pants they will release it this year. kinect and move r big releases. ninty must have big release too to generate interest back to ninty. they just don't want to announce to early coz its bad for business on d current models
