I'm guessing the price would be between 179 - 199 USD at launch... Though it will NEVER go beyond 199.
Seeing how the DS launched at 149 USD and DSi at 169 USD with all the added techs and stuff to the 3DS, it'll most likely be 199 (623.70MYR).

So in our currency it will be approximately 561.33 - 623.70

Quite cheap if you ask me... But since we don't have official releases in our country and have to pay shippings and rates.. well... 800MYR for a new unit?

Just speculations, still 2 weeks from 29th and I can't stop shaking my knee right now... >.>

Anyway, gotta save up now. Better to ask someone you know over at the states and ask them to buy. Could save a little.

The Wii launched in Japan at 25,000 Yen. It came over to North America at a price of $249 USD, and $279 CAD. Nintendo wouldn't be stupid enough to sell a portable at the same price as consoles, so the 3DS will likely follow suit and fit snug in the $249 USD area.
