I'm guessing the price would be between 179 - 199 USD at launch... Though it will NEVER go beyond 199.
Seeing how the DS launched at 149 USD and DSi at 169 USD with all the added techs and stuff to the 3DS, it'll most likely be 199 (623.70MYR).

So in our currency it will be approximately 561.33 - 623.70

Quite cheap if  you ask me... But since we don't have official releases in our country and have to pay shippings and rates.. well... 800MYR for a new unit?

After having a chat with suppliers last week, they are currently undergoing stock clearance for their DS Lites. Once its gone, its gone. So no more official support after this when the stock is cleared out.

We may still not have an official price for the Nintendo 3DS, but it looks like you can now at least count on yet another unique gaming experience not found on other handheld systems. Konami recently announced that its "Project Loveplus" dating simulator for the system will not only take advantage of the system's 3D capabilities, but that it will also include a so-called "boyfriend lock" that uses facial recognition to prevent any virtual cheating. Apparently, if someone else picks up your 3DS and tries to play the game, your virtual girlfriend will act confused and respond with phrases like "who are you?" -- which, incidentally, is a question you might also want to ask yourself before looking for ways to import the game from Japan (yeah, don't count on this one being released over here).

If you really want to play LovePlus so much, consider getting a Japanese 3DS... or wait until someone hacks a region unlocking solution

I feel it will the ULTIMATE burn one day you open your 3DS, and your own Love+ girl just looks at you and says: "DA RE?"

I wish I don't have to face the prospect of buying 2 3DSes if they implement region lock on it. I'm sure they will do it on downloadable contents but I hope it's not the same case with normal games.

As for Love Plus +, there's no DSi specific features whatsoever like a normal DS game. And the game is 100% region free.
