For those who are taking supplements products, how do u decide to start consuming the product?? Is the product actually worth ur money u put in to it?

For those who are not, how do u decide to not take any? Is there anything of ur health u are certain to?

Everyone is welcome to share the idea to me.

Hi,

I tried lots of supplements for my family including my dog. These days I usually take magnesium citrate, magnesium aspartate + B6, cod liver oil, and beef liver powder. I stick to very nutritious diet, so I don't need lots of supplements. I just don't want to eat liver due to its smell, so I take tablets.

The supplements I take are straight forward and not extremely expensive, so they are worthy of the expense.

I take vitamins after I get my results and find out exactly what I need. You shouldn't take them just like that. I also take protein when I don't get enough of it from regular foods.

I am familiar with multivitamins, as well as protein powder because it's important for the body. You have to drink them carefully and after consulting your doctor, don't hurt yourself.

The fact we have to admit : we take these supplements for mentally not physically.

Exactly, people are taking it mainly for a peace of mind. Fact that people will NOT admit, and will start quoting anecdotal experiences to further reinforce their self choice is the best decision.

The only, truely worthy “supplement” for our typical malaysian diet are whey protein powder. Most of our typical food are high carb/sugar/fat bla bla and low protein.

The moment you realize only a very, and i do mean VERY small % of malaysian consume any form of supplements, yet are living a healthy normal life, because human body are adaptable.

Hmm.. I do take supplements, but the type of supplements to take really depends on my own health condition and yours, I think.
Everyone has their own health goals and condition to follow with, so that means the supplements you need will vary from others as well. Try to consult your healthcare provider before deciding what to take, it helps alot! nod.gif
