Some personal recommendations :

QUOTE(astria @ Oct 8 2010, 10:58 AM)
Gaming

1) Asus N43Jq/A42Ja, 2) Lenovo Ideapad Y460, 3)Acer Aspire TimelineX 4820TG

- Best GPU u can find for a 14", so it's down to personal preference of brands and warranty. By Gaming I dun mean playing at highest settings on the latest blockbuster games, rather, laptops in this category allows u to play at higher detail than others, expect mid-high in most cases. The list has been totally revamped thanks to GeForce 400M series. You can't go wrong with either of these.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Battery Life / Mobility On The Go

1) Acer Aspire TimelineX 4820TG, 2) Asus U45Jc/U43Jc

- "4820TG again?" u may ask. yes, 8hrs of battery life on vanilla Core i is juz unbeatable, couple with a decent GPU, it's an obvious choice.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Value

1) Fujitsu LH520, 2) Lenovo G465/Compaq CQ42-205AU, 3)Acer Aspire 4551/Asus A42F

- LH520 top the list for a simple reason, having dedicated graphic card @ rm1.5k, no others can match that. G465 and CQ42 are tied as both have CPU at the same clock speed, both are decent choice, but pick CQ42 if u are concerned abt battery life.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Work

1) Asus X42Jr/Dell Studio 14, 2) Acer Aspire TimelineX 4820TG

- this is for those who are looking for a machine to do work like Photoshop, but still prefer 14", without breaking their wallet. X42Ja and Studio 14 come with quad core, no question on performance. TimelineX 4820TG (again!) is in the list as well as it's a light machine with great battery life, ideal for those who needs to move around often.

wah! kudos for you miahahaha for this helpful thread.

but you may want to use different color for different hardwares.

example - red color for CPU and blue color for GPU. wink.gif

Haha, its a limited edition Toshiba unit from the Avant Garde laptop series ^^
It has extremely nice- looking design, backlid keyboard, light sensor, Wi- Di (E205 have, not sure about this 1, should have ^^), feather- touch keyboard etc. etc. drool.gif
Seen 1 before, and sure fell in love with it on 1st sight XD XD But its not really worth it la, too damn expensive le~
But the styling is promising, hopefully future Toshiba laptops will look like the E200 icon_rolleyes.gif

Ya, I think so too....
Kind of like a laptop to show off the design and the technologies in it.. But too expensive even for people who are willing to spend more on design hehe!
I was most disappointed with the lack of Harman/ kardon speakers T____T

Apart from the awesome 15.6" screen (assuming i'm not picky with screen quality & sizes), y go for the slightly more expensive SXPS 16 when there are so many decent spec 14"s at a lower price?

Yeah, i'm just looking for more reasons that a soon-to-be-mine SXPS 16 gives the best bang for the buck XD

Well, this one its about the person choice smile.gif...like me, though there are tonnes of 15"/16" with such powerful spec which is kinda tempting but i always love 14" laptops, one of the reason why when choosing a laptop, i look first at size then the spec...which i came around BenQ S42 that i still been using until now nod.gif..eyeing on Acer 4820TG now, seems to be worth the buck brows.gif

TS, would u mind state as well, whether it is 512MB gc or 1g? or is this irrelevant because every card series have their own fixed dedicated size?
say like, HD5470 is always 1GB?

just suggesting =D so it could help a noob like me. Cheers =)

That's because 1GB or 512MB doesn't really affect the performances of the card...
unless you are getting the high-end card...

A bit scary seeing Lenovo Y460 and Acer 4820TG with both having HD5650 priced at RM3599 and RM2999 respectively. The latter is dirt cheap lol tongue.gif

Else, whats with 4820TG having the same GPU as the 5942G hmm.gif Makes no sense at all laugh.gif

Yup, kinda weird seeing both model comes with the same GPU, just wondering what exactly Acer thinking tongue.gif...but still RM3599 & RM2999 with the price range of RM600, 4820TG is a better choice (well for me tongue.gif)

Guys, the rm 2999 4820TG with HD5650, could it be website typo? Maybe it is only intel HD graphics.

I search the model name, got 2 variants, 1 is i7 with 5650, the other is like the ncs website but only intel HD. brows.gif

juz to help TS a bit, my own humble personal recommendation, breakdown by types:

QUOTE
Multimedia: 1) Acer Aspire TimelineX 4820TG, 2) Lenovo Ideapad Y460, 3) Asus N82Jv

- Best GPU u can find for a 14", so it's down to personal preference of brands and warranty. 4820TG has the overall best performance:price ratio in the group. Y460 may give better assurance to some since it's not an Acer (i know i know, some ppl are still Acer-phobic). N82Jv, though expensive, has 2yrs of int'l warranty, and the quality assurance of Asus (personally own N81Vp, really love the laptop)

CULV: 1) Acer Aspire Timeline 4810TZ, 2) Asus UL80Vt, 3) Dell Inspiron 14z

- why not UL80Vt??? to me, a CULV with integrated graphic is more than enuf, since the most demanding it needs to do is probably HD movies only. Intel GMA is sufficient for such jobs. but why UL80Vt second? due to performance:price ratio... sure Inspiron 14z is cheaper, but 4810TZ offers the same spec as well...

Value: 1) Asus K40Ie, 2) Lenovo Valueline G455, 3) Compaq CQ41-208AU

- K40Ie earns it's place for the GPU used and Asus' warranty service, though the price tag crossed the rm2k psychological line. G455 is pretty obvious. Throw in Win7 HP and it still maintains at rm2k, while still having a discrete GPU for ur daily tasks and flash games. CQ41 uses the latest offering from AMD, and Intel has nothing new that comes close in this price range. As a side note, when comes to GPGPU, AMD and NV are still ahead of Intel.

u may notice that i ve left out the general usage type... well, throw a stone at any laptop that's within ur budget and they can all do the general computing stuff... i am more focused on the niche areas...

and upto 8 hours battery life..now its quite amazing.. but again, there must be some weakness or disadvantages of this 4820TG rite? anyone mind to share??

i might end my wait for Asus and go for this acer thou.. however is Acer quality is improving? bcoz currently im using Aspire 5044 and my hinge is broken, so my monitor need a support from wall or books - _ - "
my fren, have d same problem and then his mobo also burned down.. so im quite skeptical here.. (my acer is 4 years old)

Care to tell us here what is your maximum budget?? hmm.gif..well, for CQ41-214TX (i5 430M + HD4350 @ RM2549), there's Asus A42Jr (i3 350M + HD5470 @ RM2599) or (i5 430M + HD5470 @ RM2799) which can give better performance in gaming...

Also, take a look at Acer 4745G (i5 430M + HD5470 @ RM2699)...which can performed better than CQ41-214TX (by means maybe on par)

*on the other note, if you dun really concern about the new Core I series, then maybe BenQ S42 is a better choice for gaming as for now, none can beat it in terms of gaming within this price range*

Budget is nt a question for me,bro.....
This is bcoz i am gettin the latop from a promotion....
I would jz like to know whether is it a gudd buy and cn it play games like the fifa series Fifa10 and the coming soon fifa series???
Moreover,to use it for uni usage and for more than 2 years...is it ok???
Plz do assist as i need to make a decision by tonight....Thanks....
*
Well, if insist on CQ41 then maybe you should go for it nod.gif..yes, it can last for another 2 years and for up-coming FIFA, my guess it will ok because FIFA usually a game that mostly run with the CPU more than the GPU smile.gif...
Even FIFA10 system requirements are quite low compared to other games tongue.gif...well, i guess should can last with you for 2 years nod.gif..

*but still, if got the budget then Acer 4745G or Asus A42Jr would be a better choice, just my POV though...CQ41 is fine also*

Yes, the A42Jr is available in MY and already got forumers in this forum that already using it nod.gif...both comes with the same spec but Asus wins in terms of warranty while Acer is unbeatable with its price nod.gif..now, whether to choose which is which because both performed roughly the same...

*Asus A42Jr got 3 choices of processor? Which is which, because the price varies with one another nod.gif

*Acer 4745G got switchable GC, got advantage on battery saving mode and can last longer nod.gif..and extend the warranty to 3 years icon_idea.gif

Hi all sifus...
CULV : 1) Acer Aspire Timeline 4810TZ, 2) Asus UL80Vt, 3) Dell Inspiron 14z
Value : 1) Asus K40Ie, 2) Lenovo Valueline G455, 3) Compaq CQ41-208AU
For performance how is "CULV" compare to "Value"?
Which has better graphics performance?
Which is more value for money?
Thanks.

CULV models are not really meant for performance, instead they excel in battery life. The GC in the UL80Vt would support a little bit of light gaming I think and I would say it is currently the best of its kind icon_rolleyes.gif

Value for money? It depends on what you are using your laptop for lo.... If you are on the go alot then CULV laptops should be better, if not, then go for the value lines laugh.gif

well depends on how people classify gaming, Light gaming = CSS and dota, then yes. But imo the UL80Vt should be used for like, dirt 2, bioshock 2, ME2 and such. Not what the UL80Vt is built for.

Well, processing videos with the help of GPU will improved the process by 40% of the CPU usage itself, so for UL80Vt which comes with a CULV proc, raw processing is a bit lower compared to the normal C2D/Core I processor..

But processing 1080p videos, my guess it won't have any hiccups, because my old HP also can process those videos without any hiccups icon_idea.gif

My vote goes to Lenovo G460, because overall in terms of spec is slightly better than L510 & also uses the new Core series nod.gif...

You should go lowyat and check out the Y460. Not a bad design but a bit lazy since it's based on the Y450 chassis. Spec wise I don't think they have many differences. I do give props to Lenovo since they also provide on site services, same like Dell's next business day on site(but you need to consult the warranty package 1st), switchable graphics, JBL speakers, face recognition login and their laptop usage profile. nod.gif

more importantly, VGA plays a bigger role

yeah.. the proc isnt so powerful to carry on heavy task @ multitask.. << but in m11x .. it can be OC-ed

if u want to carry on heavy task.. u should get quad core / i7

2. Compaq CQ188TX @ RM2049
3. Lenovo G460 @ RM2199

Hi guys,

Made a search for ATI Mobility HD5430. Yield zero matches.

Any comparison for this GC? AFAIK, its used in the new Compaq CQ41-188TX.

Would like to know how it performs against G310M aka. Acer 4740G.

Thanks

Hey guys,

Have asked this in the Laptop GC thread but yet to receive any response there.

Anyone here care to comment on this?

Yup, HD4670 is Dell SXPS 16 nod.gif..well, a nice laptop with some gaming power...

Can take a look at some older model such as :

BenQ S57 - P8700 + HD4650 (15")
Asus N81Vp - T9600 + HD4650 (14")

This really help me alot... Could we add some simple ranking on this first post... e.g.
For CPU: i7 > i5 > i3 ... quite obvious... and for AMD and older CPU too.
For GPU: GT320M > ATi5470 > etc. smile.gif

hm hm, i think it'll be easier to classify the GPUs tho, since hard to gauge their exact performance. Actually it'll be easier to do a graphical representation, since like the 4570 is middle between entry and mainstream.

Well, before this with the help of expert lee_what, we divided the laptops according to their price range which by some are quite good...and then i changed it to BRANDS which i think is best because people will look at the BRANDS and see the spec, comparing with others would be easy as from BRAND to BRAND instead of searching for GPU nod.gif...

And also, listing them according to GPU/CPU is kinda confusing (well, for me it is tongue.gif)...

Added on April 9, 2010, 6:30 amI can classify them into GPU standard or CPU standard laugh.gif

if they are really concerned abt GPU performance, i believe they would visit the GPU thread...

thought so too... kinda hesitate to go to have it evaluate... bought for rm 3.4k in 2008... late 2009 already died... now i even doubt it could be around 1k...

:I damn the technology advancement speed...

got extreme poor eyesight... so anything bigger than 14" is welcome... but price problem... hate if it spoiled like previous laptop... just 1-2 months after warranty gone..

The y460 seem nice for playing Dragon age origin... and i5430 seem to be able to handle a little photoshop on the side...

Hi guys,

Wanna ask a newbie question whats the difference between the 2 CQ42 spec below

Compaq CQ42-189TX, i3 330M + ATi HD5430@RM2299
Compaq CQ42-188TX, i3 330M + ATi HD5430@RM2049

-I've googled and noticed cq42-189TX comes with Windows 7

-I got quoted Compaq CQ42- i3 (biscotti) for RM2250 for free dos, not sure if the price is reasonable.

Better take Dell Studio 15 nod.gif..much more better spec with reasonable price but then again, take a look at :

Lenovo Y460, i5 430M + HD5650 @ RM3299
Lenovo Y460. i5 540M + HD5650 @ RM3599

which by GPU, they outperformed Dell Studio 15/14 but using Core i5 (suitable more for gaming)...

erm, look at the benchmark. THe i5-540m reaches the i7-720m level... (nearly there) So the much better choice would be the Lenovo. Also the dell GPU won't let you game decently.

Compared with K40Ie, a slight win for L510 nod.gif...i think for that price better you go for L510 as the GPU is better than K40Ie nod.gif...

Hi guys, I bought my Compaq CQ42-177TX last week @ RM2699 + RM100 for HP Care Pack. A great 14" laptop if you ask me. It got the looks and muscles pack in a 14" body with a cheap price tag of RM2699.

I missed out the RM2599 + FREE HP Care Pack offer since they had limited stocks at the local IT fair in Karamunsing, KK.

Couldn't find Asus A42Jr either. Overall, quite satisfied with my purchase.

Well, dun depend on WEI though, that's just something that Window came out for references smile.gif...even if the WEI is high or slightly lower, the performance might be the same for both nod.gif...

oni a clear difference in WEI shows a distinct performance difference. Eg 4.5 vs 5.5 but like miahaahha said. a difference of like 0.5 might not be a major diff.

Toshiba Satellite Pro L510-B402

Warranty & Aftersales Service = Dell Vostro 1088
Spec = Toshiba L510
GPU-Wise = Toshiba L510
HDD = Dell Vostro 1088
Price = Dell > Toshiba

And overall view, better go for Toshiba L510 with a stronger GPU than Vostro 1088...

Dished out Compaq CQ117TX (shouldn't be in list if you are comparing with the others that you listed)...

Gaming = Lenovo Y460 (HD5650 outperformed others)
Warranty = Asus A42Jr (got 2 years International Warranty by default)

Another one would be Acer 4820TG @ RM2999 (comes with HD5650 also)

ASUS vs Lenovo? of course ASUS lur... and imo, ASUS warrenty is better than dell now, since they offer international warrenty. Also if dell's studio series were an indication of their current quality, the ASUS wins as well.

International warranty is considered pros if you're studying oversea/businessman who travels a lot. Hence, there's not much to elaborate. Many OEMs are doing good on RMA such as Asus, Dell, Lenovo, and HP. Others might still have flaws but I do believe they're doing their best to serve their customers. It really depends on what you prefer. onsite or carry in. HP Asus provide carry in service. HP does promise their customers they'll fix it in a week/5 business days which is good. Lenovo provide both carry in and on site. Dell provides on site exclusively. rclxms.gif

international warranty does not mean anything to me since i wont be staying at out of malaysia for long

even travel also few days nia, so ok la

hm...yea, just notice lenovo can on site also...good good. but tak tau kena pay extra berapa :S

Added on April 12, 2010, 10:13 pmbtw, i much prefer on-site if it's like dell one

coz they come to my place, terus replace whatever is rosak, and go, then i can use liao

i no need bring my lappie go there, then leave it for repair, then wait few days again only can collect it back

btw, really wonder isit so easy anot for lenovo to replace the parts like dell anot

for my case, dell on site repair is awesome, usually they wont ask much question and terus hantar their tech ppl come

haiz...why la dell GC no better one sad.gif

international warranty does not mean anything to me since i wont be staying  at out of malaysia for long

even travel also few days nia, so ok la

hm...yea, just notice lenovo can on site also...good good. but tak tau kena pay extra berapa :S

Added on April 12, 2010, 10:13 pmbtw, i much prefer on-site if it's like dell one

coz they come to my place, terus replace whatever is rosak, and go, then i can use liao

i no need bring my lappie go there, then leave it for repair, then wait few days again only can collect it back

btw, really wonder isit so easy anot for lenovo to replace the parts like dell anot

for my case, dell on site repair is awesome, usually they wont ask much question and terus hantar their tech ppl come

haiz...why la dell GC no better one sad.gif

you can choose Dell Alienware or Dell Studio XPS series... sweat.gif

Well, Alienware M11x is for gaming mobility, meaning that with a 11.6" laptop which is portable/mobile, gaming is not a problem...but the throw-back for M11x is the CPU it uses...there's no XPS 14...only got Studio 14, Studio 15 & SXPS 16 nod.gif...

Well, Dell already got Alienware/SXPS as their gaming series so no point for Studio & Inspiron to be the same nod.gif..well, just hope in due time Alienware will come out with 13" icon_idea.gif

Hey guys, is the CQ42-189tx with i3 330 (2.1GHz) and HD5430 good enough for gaming on low/medium settings? Such as COD, L4D, NFS, Burnout etc? Thanks! icon_rolleyes.gif

Should be fine, as double_u said, the performance is somewhere on par with HD4570..can if you want to upgrade the performance, OC it because people said that it can run at the performance of HD5470 nod.gif..

the resolution is not plug dependent but rather, it's GPU dependent...

even integrated graphic can have resolution up to 2048x1536... Full HD is sup sup water (but of course, whether u can have smooth display is another problem)

i do use external keyboard, not becuz of the heat, but to prolong the lifespan of the laptop keyboard though...

that means no lag when playing a movie or playing games...

for eg, i can connect my netbook to a monitor with Full HD resolution, it will probably lag even when playing video from Youtube, due to insufficient performance on the GPU's part...

yes processor will affect processor intesive games such as GTA4 supreme commander (mainly RTS). the i3 2.1 GHz is good enough for normal games, since you're already running lower settings. (normal games i'm thinking of css, dirt 2, mass effect 2, CoD4)

For the best after-sales service, at the moment, none can beat Dell, while Asus/Acer got the same company that handle their warranty service (HighPoint)

With your budget, i would like to recommend :

1. Acer 4820TG, i5 430M + HD5650 @ RM2999
2. Acer 4745G, i5 430M + HD5470 @RM2699
3. Asus A42Jr, HD5470 + i5 520M @ RM2999 ~~i5 430M @ RM2799 ~~i3 350M @ RM2599

From the list above, Acer 4820TG is the most superior in terms of gaming performance while the others are for medium-gaming performance only...but the problem is, 4820TG is not sure when will be available in MY because some say, by this week (hopefully KL PC Fair) this unit will be available nod.gif...

Added on April 15, 2010, 9:53 ambtw, what do you actually do with your laptop?? Maybe can give a bit more info because of its not for games, then laptop with Intel HD/GMA or maybe a lower-end GC can also tongue.gif...

my (will soon come to be my laptop) will be used mainly for
1) web/software development
2) graphic design (Adobe Photoshop/illustrator)
3) video editing software

oh, Asus & Acer got the same company that handle customer warranty services..

i know that ASUS service centre is located @ imbi plaza..
what about Acer? ..i think it is located @ Times Square?? (am i right?)

if that the case, which one is the most good (between ASUS & Acer) - in term of services? icon_question.gif

P/S: last time i've used HP... faced alot of problem... sorry to say this, but currently their customer service is sxxk.. vmad.gif

Well, after looking at what actually you do with the laptop..looks like the most important factor for your laptop should be the CPU which i think i5 520/540 or i7 would suits you best...

From the list that i gave you, the best would be Asus A42Jr with i5 520M + HD5470 @ RM2999...but get this, Acer 4820TG that comes with i5 430M + HD5650 got good battery life compared to others (well, if you do a lot of works outdoors then this would be some factor for you to consider)...

You can also check some of Dell laptops in Dell website...got Vostro/Latitude series that seems to be perfect for you nod.gif...as i see you are heavily considering After-Sales Service as one of the main factor for your laptop and Dell is known to be the best in this field icon_idea.gif

actually don't really agree with getting dell. imo asus's quality is better than dell now, and their warrenty is quite awesome. And one factor to look at is the chassis design, if i'm not wrong usually ASUS laptops are easier to access each individual components eg, cpu gpu hdd ram wifi.... so it is easier to clean.

@double
Some of the Dell are easy to take each part out...i use to owned a Latitude Series one, and it was easy to take out the HDD,RAM and also the MOBO...same goes to other Dell models i assumed..

And yes, Asus is one of the easiest to pry out each part nod.gif..though, give alternative to the buyer nod.gif..he want the best after sales service which Dell can provide with No 1 ranked now nod.gif...

Went to PC Fair today. Got Lenovo Y460. Very impressed with build quality, spec, etc. My alternatives were Dell Studio 15, & some other Acer that I'm not serious about. I would really recommend Y460.

Only reason I didn't buy is: Warranty is local only. I can't use it in USA. =(

Some web site stated, big screen laptop have some disadvantages:
1- Heavy (not suitable for travel)
2- required more power (much replace new battery within 1 year or 2year)

Better GPU, which translate to better gaming performance.
Bigger screen and bigger resolution(1600x900), bigger workspace for designing/editing.
Bigger notebook also has bigger space to dissipate the heat.

Its a nice choice if your budget is under 3K.

Back depends on your budget,
Y460 > Vostro 3700 >>> 5741G and A42Jr/A52Jr (these three perform similar in games)
or if you can wait, Acer 4820TG@RM2999, same spec with Y460 but nowhere found yet...

Well, for now the release of 4820TG in MY market is unknown, until we get any feedback from a REAL buyer, only then we'll know....seems like your choice are narrowed down to Lenovo Y460, which is btw a nice laptop..

Ya, it doesn't seem right to be priced at RM4,999. However, the old N81Vg was priced at RM4,799 though, somewhere around this range cry.gif

The brochure is named "ASUS PRODUCT GUIDE APRIL 2010 PC Fair 2010", taken from a notebook shop icon_rolleyes.gif

after a year or so, if you so happen to reformat your laptop, i don't think you would want to reinstall back the outdated junks right? i would use the latest version and change the key to the one on the back of the laptop and then download the latest version of the junks.

HP laptops are usually better built and quality. But acer is fast catching up. Anyway you should go for at least an i5 if you want a reasonable investment.

I see.... Thanks for the info. I rely too much on recovery cd in the past it seems tongue.gif

btw, is there any step by step guide on how to create your own windows and driver recovery cd (without those junkware) ?
*
there is a program to allow you to burn the recovery cds. i haven't able to successfully create them yet (required 3 dvds) for the factory settings recovery. i got an error in the program which wasted two of my dvds... if you are able to get your hands on a win7 installer, you can install using that and change your rightful key. the junks are available at lenovo website (ala dell style)

Note that CW26 comes with 1600x900 screen resolution, the text might be too small for your eyes though and also lesser performance when gaming in its native resolutions compared to N82Jv...

juz skimmed thru the review...

basically wat u would expect from say, Lenovo Y460 and Asus N82Jv...

Added on April 23, 2010, 8:52 am
QUOTE
Multimedia : 1) Lenovo Ideapad Y460, 2) Asus N82Jv, 3) Sony Vaio EA16

- Best GPU u can find for a 14", so it's down to personal preference of brands and warranty. Y460 give the spec for now with reasonable price. N82Jv, though expensive, has 2yrs of int'l warranty, USB3.0 port and the quality assurance of Asus (personally own N81Vp, really love the laptop). Vaio EA16 is worth considering, especially if u love to choose the colour, but lacks features compared to N82Jv

here it is mia... Vaio EA16 deserves it's place in the Multimedia category...

Acer 4741 comes with GT330 >> http://www.acer.com.my/acer/product.do?Lan...&CRC=1071736760

Acer 4745 comes with HD5650 >> http://www.acer.com.my/acer/product.do?Lan...&CRC=3145461733

Acer 4820T comes with HD5650 >> http://www.acer.com.my/acer/product.do?Lan...&CRC=2506146069

I thought N82jv launch price is RM4999? For EA16, I'm more worried about it's temp than my Y460 since it doesn't provide switchable GC as when I'm on HD5650, idle temp would be 54-55C and with some video, net browsing and word processing, it's already at 60C and slowly increase.

Well, we all know that 4741G (not so sure about this though) & 4745G already in the market...maybe you'll find last stocks for 4740G nod.gif..but still, maybe you can opt for 4745G instead (fresher model) nod.gif..

*well, i list the price from my observation and also got info from other forumers (as in lee_what,kucing) notworthy.gif

hav u tried Cat 10.6a? it has intel-Ati vga switching

Where can I get it?? Seems like a beta driver... I meant if you're getting a EA16 w/o providing ability to switch between GC, the temp overall might be around 50C++ even on idle mode. Battery wise can't comment since no one got a unit hmm.gif .

Yup, just one thing that i have doubt is weather that test/temp result is in SEA (well, we are monsoon country so heat is a factor)...NBR is worldwide though, if in EU/US can get that result easily tongue.gif...

Actually EA also got 1600x900, just that this time they don't offer it, maybe later?
Similar with when CW16/17 comes out, only 1366x768, then come CW26/27 with 1600x900...

Yup, I think maximum is that speed, I up 1 more hz the artifact start come out.. mean that sony gt330 can hit around 625 compare to dell 670 >.<.. but my score still lower than the NBR one.. sob sob >.<.. Maximum GPU temperature archive was 66C during benchmarking with the highest clock speed..

Well, if you read through the review from astria, the features that he mentioned about N82Jv, that's what EA series lacks off nod.gif...

@obs
Nice OC, well for GT330M really does well on OC and the temp is just thumbup.gif

Added on April 23, 2010, 11:41 pmbtw, just realized that i5 actually runs hotter that the normal C2D series..seeing from obs HWMonitor that is tongue.gif
