Ok. That last statement pretty much clinched the deal for me. Either U41 or U45 depending on best price since the battery is same in both models. Thank you!

Added on December 23, 2010, 7:27 amAlso, why is the U41 not on the official Asus website yet? No official launch yet?

Most probably Asus Malaysia haven't update yet. Try searching other country's official Asus website.

The Z460 is using 6 cell 48Wh battery while the U45Jc is using 8-cell 84Wh battery..
So, the U45Jc has 75% longer battery life...

Watt means how many watts there are in the battery, to count battery capacity, use the watt and multiply the cell.

From what I have learnt, just see your battery description behind your battery.
For example, my laptop's battery is 6cell and 4000mAh.
Therefore, the calculation is 6*4000=24000(insert function, not sure about it)
The more it has, the longer the battery capacity in it.

How long it stand, depneds on your usage,
For intel cpu and intel gpu, on just light browsing, expecting around discharge rate 10W or less,
with that, 48Wh/10W, should last 4.8 hours
while the one with 84Wh, should last 8.4 hours

But if you are playing games with dedicated GPU, can expect around 30W discharge depending your spec,
48Wh/30W just last around 1.6 hours, while the one with 84Wh can last 2.8 hours...

No, 4000mAh is your total 6cell can contain, Its your voltage * amp hour = watt hour
