Dear All,

Still considering a few options. As there are 7 of us, drive down from KL, stay in JB, take shuttle to USS using the package price of RM200 per person (food additional).
Another option is to stay in Sentosa for 3D2N, then probably have more time to spend at USS. The only issue is it costs more. But if they give you 2 days access maybe its worth it.
Any advice, pls?

Do you really need 2 days to do everything in USS? If the crowd is small eg. weekdays you can finish everything within a day and that includes pretty much all the rides and all the shows. If you really want to beat the crowd pay extra for the Express ticket or whatever they call it.

i strongly suggest that you visit USS during weekdays where the waitin time will be max 30 minutes...i tinhk during weekend, even express or single rider will need to wait long q.
i went there yesterday and it was perfect..the longest was 25 minutes and tat is the tube rafting in the water...

is Friday a good time? Since friday is closes to weekend, I wonder whether is it more crowded than regular weekdays or just like normal weekday?

Ive been to USS both on weekends n weekdays i would say weekdays are crowded as well but not overly crowded so no worries but best to go on weekdays wink.gif

And you only need 1 day for USS if you plan accordingly, depends on everyone, im in my 20s so i do not sit rides like treasure hunt or the small roller coaster on the dragon near shrek's castle!

When you guys head to USS Do find out the time for
"Monster Rock"
"Water world play"
"parade" I think this is around 6.30PM

The top 2 only plays during certain time and please do not miss it or it would be a waste wink.gif for water world do sit infront and enjoy getting wet! wink.gif

Just got back from USS, and the Transfomers Ride is awesome. DO NOT MISS IT! Many thanks to TS for the tips and advice...as my trip is more well-planned and I managed to cover all the rides following his advice. smile.gif

Most importantly, go in, get a Map and showtimes. They are available at the entrance of the park. Plot your favourite attractions, which you can give it a miss, and which you should go. The park is not that big and you can go round it a few times if you walk fast enough.

For the Jurassic Rapid Adventures, do buy a raincoat there or bring one yourself. You will definitely get wet! Lockers there aren't free but you can stow your bags away in the lockers near the Mummy for free. It's within walking distance.

I went there last month, on Friday 9 March 2012.. The only ride that has a long queue was transformers. It took me half an hour. Other rides, I walked all the way from the entrance until the end of the line, where there was between 0 to 5 peoples at most, in front of me (in other words, the queue was pretty much, empty)..

So, if you guys want to enjoy the ride, come during the weekday.. It's been a few years already, so, I believe most singaporeans and johoreans had visited the uss... so, during weekdays, the crowd is small.

no need to book. Long time ago, people had to book their ticket because at that time, the park wasn't fully opened. So, only limited number of people can get their tickets. Nowadays, it's not an issue anymore, but for your convenience, better buy now so that you don't have have to queue later on.

went there last week during weekday

best ride was the Transformer ride, ride it twice
2nd best was the BSG Cylon ride, not for the faint hearted! thumbup.gif
forget about the Jurassic park skyride or something.... queued up for 1 hour yet the ride only lasted for about 1min or something... no shiok also doh.gif

for faster access to the rides, try to use the lone visitor entrance... save u lots of time if you don't mind to sit separate from your partner

oh yeah... not sure if this is mentioned b4, there's SGD10 discount each ticket for Maybank creditcard holder.
