Can't compare between these two. Forte is a C segment whereas 2 is a B.

For interior space, the 2 is tiny even for a B segment. The 1.5L is good enough for city driving but it whines and groans whenever going up hills as with most smaller cc engines. Handling wise it's probably quite easy and precise due to its light weight and hatchback configuration. Exterior design is very subjective, but personally I quite like the sporty looks yet the feminine and cute rounded surfaces of the interior dash is a huge turn off.

If not for the price, I would actually recommend the Jazz which has a more versatile interior space and larger boot would be more practical. But of course, this is a Forte thread so you know my answer for best recommendation.

Too bad the Venga is only available in Europe.

hahah..this forte thread aka full-of-hope thread also sometime got me confuse..
hopefully, soon to be 2.0 can enjoy their car and will start talking about more technical/experience of their car

Anyone ... correct this assumption of mine if it's wrong: Those who booked the 2.0 from a DEALER will not be told of any allocation by Careline coz their name are not in the queue system. Dealers buy cash upfront from HQ then resell them to bookers. If need to inquire allocation status from Careline.. maybe need to ask name of dealer or company name.

I'm guessing that's why my SA never bothered to ask me for downpayment since booking with RM1K on 6 December.... even when I wanted to. He only agreed to apply bank loan for me last 2 weeks after rumours of bank loan interest hike .. but still said no need for downpayment yet. He said .. wait for car to arrive.

If my dealer has no money to buy upfront .. how ah?

I think you're right redz3. I think i've heard somewhere about how the allocation and queue system work but i'm too excited after hearing people already getting their chassis numbers. straight away call the careline. hahaha.

sadly, she did ask me where i booked my car and when i told her the dealer's name, she said the dealer still does not have any allocated under that company's name.

on the bright side, congrats to bros/sis who had received the chassis numbers. i'm happy for you all

today i got my forte 1.6 SX titanium silver. ..so bro titarium pls add me in this owner group...i hv been following this thread since january..i can feel what is the meaning of CARGASM that u guys always talked about . ..and all the aweks were looking at my car with ORGASM's faces..because forte is kinda rare at my place...after drove this baby a little while..i went minum2 with my buddy (pogostik) who own pug 308.

My SA called me today, asking me to provide latest 3 month payslip to my bank cos LOU expired after 3 months.
Ask her when my car arrived, she replied not yet but allocation already started.
