QUOTE(limhongwoon @ Mar 15 2010, 12:17 PM) More like not necessary because DSLR hardly will spoil other than infected by fungus. But you can avoid it by keeping your gears with proper guidelines.I only think extended warranty is more applicable for laptop as they are prone to breakdowns after 1 year. Who need extended warranty when unfilled warranty card is there ? And the most important thing is mock receipt to prove the warranty is valid

Can sum1 tell me what the different with D90 and D5000?
If I'm not mistaken, Ken Rockwell more recomended D5000 compare to D90 or D300. How bout the lens? Can D5000 use same lens with D60 or D90? |

QUOTE(pancho @ Mar 15 2010, 01:06 PM) Can sum1 tell me what the different with D90 and D5000? just because of d5000 using same sensor with D90, i dnt thnk its better to take D5000. D5000 dnt hv body motors for sure. less button and small body. no top screen LCD. much prefer D90. just kena poison with D300s edIf I'm not mistaken, Ken Rockwell more recomended D5000 compare to D90 or D300. QUOTE(pancho @ Mar 15 2010, 01:06 PM) Can sum1 tell me what the different with D90 and D5000? D5000 can only use AF-S lens, which are more expensive than an equivalent non-AFS lens that D90 can useIf I'm not mistaken, Ken Rockwell more recomended D5000 compare to D90 or D300. How bout the lens? Can D5000 use same lens with D60 or D90? so D90 is expensive camera but u can get cheaper lens... and d5000 is cheaper camera but need to get expensive lenses ;p |

"i gonna take the plunge. i ordered one piece 4Gb class 10. if you would wait for it, i will test it and post result as soon as i receive it."
Hi guys, Tested the "Extreme Sandisk 4Gb". I bought it for RM52. Read/Write speed only 19Mb/s. So I guess it's only about class 4 speed. Oh well, RM52 for class 4 SD card, ok lor. My advice, stay away.... This post has been edited by munyip7: Mar 15 2010, 01:55 PM |

Which brand's Class 4 can read/write at 20Mb/s? Heck most Class 6 cannot write at 20Mb/s. Hi guys, Tested the "Extreme Sandisk 4Gb". I bought it for RM52. Read/Write speed only 19Mb/s. So I guess it's only about class 4 speed. Oh well, RM52 for class 4 SD card, ok lor. My advice, stay away.... The old Extreme III is supposed to go at 20Mb/s, only the newer faster ones are 30mbps. The 30Mb/s ones have a tag, and the design is a little different. |
