QUOTE(celciuz @ Mar 15 2010, 07:00 AM) I base my selection of UV filters from here, http://www.lenstip.com/113.4-article-UV_fi...nd_summary.htmlSynthetic tests are best instead of just visual . Seems like the better few UV filters around are from Hoya. Most likely going for HD as Pro1D is hard to clean :S. One reason I don't go for any filter is that... the flare never fail to irritate me when its around LOL. what do you mean Pro1D are hard to clean?

QUOTE(celciuz @ Mar 15 2010, 09:52 AM) As in, if you get a smudge on the glass and you try to wipe with water/cloth. It'll smear even worse :S. As in outdoor shooting then kena, no time to clean it like that. Seems not too bad, if the extra battery is an original D90 batt that is. oh.. that means if u r using Hoya HD, it wont smear when wipe with water/cloth? i only have Pro1D, so no idea what's the diff btw this wif HD..

QUOTE(munyip7 @ Mar 15 2010, 01:51 PM) "i gonna take the plunge. i ordered one piece 4Gb class 10. if you would wait for it, i will test it and post result as soon as i receive it." Hi guys, Tested the "Extreme Sandisk 4Gb". I bought it for RM52. Read/Write speed only 19Mb/s. So I guess it's only about class 4 speed. Oh well, RM52 for class 4 SD card, ok lor. My advice, stay away.... although it's class 4 speed.. what i'm worried off is the quality.. imagine you have some important photo in it and it suddenly die off.. card can be replace, but the photo is priceless..

IMHO... if i like the lens and i can afford it, i will buy it.. do agree with what alpha said.. everything boils down to "need vs want".. most of the time, we choose something becoz of wanting it rather than the needing it. celciuz statement about peer pressure is an example of want..

QUOTE(celciuz @ Mar 17 2010, 10:23 AM) Cheap and good . Only complain I have is the lack of VR, but then again the IQ is pretty good, it is lightweight and best of all does a lot of bokeh hehe. But my hit rate is pretty bad when I go below 1/30s shutter >(. lol.. seem like i also have unsteady hand like you.... since i'm broke now for my coming trip, no choice but to get the cheap 50mm 1.8D Added on March 17, 2010, 10:34 amQUOTE(celciuz @ Mar 17 2010, 10:30 AM) Alamak, don't poison me further. I'm satisfied with 50mm f/1.8D! hahaha.. since u can afford 70-200, this is juz a piece of cake for u.. This post has been edited by shadow111: Mar 17 2010, 10:34 AM
