My box at friend's boot... came back raining heavily, so when I went back to my car didn't take it yet LOL.
For the first time, I actually use the all weather cover for my Flipside 400 |

Great, hopefully I don't end up like you and selling it later on >.<i own 70-200 vr2 before.. but i sold it to my fren. i sold it bcos i rare use la.. haha QUOTE(SkyBlue99 @ Mar 14 2010, 11:45 PM) I got it for 6950 from J-One Amcorp Mall, average pricing I guess. But is one of the better pricing than in Melaka. Melaka goes for about RM7150 for most shops and only one guy offering me 6950, but have to order the unit one. |

Hoya HD, Hoya HMC UV(0), or the Hoya Super HMC UV(0)? Me probably going for Hoya HD as the Pro1Digital a bit hard to clean the stains ._. HD seems much easier to clean tho.

I base my selection of UV filters from here,
http://www.lenstip.com/113.4-article-UV_fi...nd_summary.html Synthetic tests are best instead of just visual One reason I don't go for any filter is that... the flare never fail to irritate me when its around LOL. |

QUOTE(shadow111 @ Mar 15 2010, 08:43 AM) As in, if you get a smudge on the glass and you try to wipe with water/cloth. It'll smear even worse :S. As in outdoor shooting then kena, no time to clean it like that.QUOTE(pancho @ Mar 15 2010, 09:41 AM) Yesterday I go to Queensbay Mall and asking 4 D90 complete set (Body, kit lens, 2 Batt, beg, 8G memory and tripod) = RM4250. Seems not too bad, if the extra battery is an original D90 batt that is.It's OK or not? |

QUOTE(munyip7 @ Mar 15 2010, 01:51 PM) "i gonna take the plunge. i ordered one piece 4Gb class 10. if you would wait for it, i will test it and post result as soon as i receive it." Which brand's Class 4 can read/write at 20Mb/s? Heck most Class 6 cannot write at 20Mb/s. Hi guys, Tested the "Extreme Sandisk 4Gb". I bought it for RM52. Read/Write speed only 19Mb/s. So I guess it's only about class 4 speed. Oh well, RM52 for class 4 SD card, ok lor. My advice, stay away.... The old Extreme III is supposed to go at 20Mb/s, only the newer faster ones are 30mbps. The 30Mb/s ones have a tag, and the design is a little different. |

QUOTE(munyip7 @ Mar 15 2010, 02:21 PM) never tried buying camera from eBay. But I've bought tennis racket on ebay. It snapped into half at the neck area after 3 months use. Hahah. I thought I hitting the ball too hard. What I meant is, which Class 4 you mentioned, does 20Mb/s read and write? Very curious to know, so far I've used only this cheap Extreme III can burst 100 shots without slowing down on my D90. Those Class 4 would stop halfway. (Say about 20-30 shots).Added on March 15, 2010, 2:24 pm I tested the card connected to USB card reader using HD Tune. Is that a good enough test? Besides, how fast your card can read and write depends a lot on the card reader. Are you using something like those Sandisk Imagemate? |

QUOTE(munyip7 @ Mar 15 2010, 04:33 PM) just using normal usb card reader. test shows 19mb/s read write. burst got not problem. i tested till 50 shots. i don't think i will burst so much in the field anyway. max 3-5 shots burst for me. That is the performance of a Sandisk Extreme III isn't it?My copy had no differences with a RM120 4GB Extreme III |

QUOTE(luzzio @ Mar 17 2010, 04:53 AM) You seem to have jumped on my point that we don't "need" 70-200's to take artistic photos to instead mean we "shouldn't bother" with 70-200's. Each lens has their pros and cons, for the artistic shots I would say a 70-200 isn't really built for that. IMO, the 70-200 is more of an event lens where you need the range and aperture for high shutter.I'm just relating it to gear envy for those who don't have rm5k lenses to just get off their butt and use whatever they have, and stop complaining about other people having better lenses but not being able to use it properly (not that it applies to anyone specifically). I like the sets from this guy here, http://www.flickr.com/photos/zeckson/ . Best of all is that he uses lens like 18-55, 35mm with a D90 body for his photoshoot |
