Guys is there something wrong with my D90 or there is something missing which I don't know.

By right if we adjust the exposure to higher our picture will be brighter right? Even when i turn my exposure to +5 my picture brightness will just remain the same.

is it exposure or exposure compensation?if exposure compensation,it wont work in manual mode.

Exposure compensation.

Just discover that it will only work in Manual mode if you use ISO-auto

I think you can extend the warranty but of course with a price to pay. I've seen people selling off their nikon's with 2 years extended warranty

Why we dun need it ?? The lens cannot damage ??

More like not necessary because DSLR hardly will spoil other than infected by fungus. But you can avoid it by keeping your gears with proper guidelines.

I only think extended warranty is more applicable for laptop as they are prone to breakdowns after 1 year.

I am leaving it at normal. I've read some sites which says higher ISO NR will cause the picture to look less detail although it reduces noise

yup.. D90 alrdy hv auto focus on the body, so we can use those lens without build in motor..
saw this from http://imaging.nikon.com/products/imaging/...s/glossary2.htm

D
Distance information
D-type and G-type NIKKOR lenses relay subject-to-camera distance information to AF Nikon camera bodies. This then makes possible advances like 3D Matrix Metering and 3D Multi-Sensor Balanced Fill-Flash.
Note: D-type and G-type NIKKOR lenses provide distance information to the following cameras: Auto exposure; F6, F5, F100, F90X, F80, F75, F70, F65, F60, F55, F50, PRONEA S, PRONEA 600i, D2 series, D1 series, D100 and D70s/D70.
Flash control; F6, F5, F100, F90X, F80, F75, F70, D2 series, D1 series, D100 and D70s/D70.

reviews said D is better than G at distortion n vignetting control
but overall not much difference in IQ i guess, unless pixel peep
G has fulltime manual override, quieter AF
D has faster AF using body AF motor
if me, i take D, rather save the xtra cash on other stuffs
Nikon SB600 is within your budget, Rm750-800
or as Mavik said, u can try 2nd hand SB800 which is better at Rm1k+
*
I always thought pairing AF-S lense with body with focus motor will give a faster focusing speed.

what do you mean by full frame lens ?
is it prime lens like Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 ?

p/s..can i request pic captured by these items to see the difference  sweat.gif

I think full frame lenses means non DX lense .. those lense goes best with FX body

I have emailed Nikon Malaysia and gotten confirmation that there is NO D90 replacement model known until now. If it's just plain hearsay please state the source. This is like causing a sudden panic for people owning D90 who might sell it at ridiculous price in anticipation of the new D90 model.

Not good lar..
