Perhaps you should post in or create a glove thread instead of posting this here.

Well u know how you almost never wear your pants alone without the suit, otherwise you might wear it out before the jacket? Well I got around that by making 2 pants. same cutting and all. (usually asking for a discount on the 2nd pants tongue.gif)

Actually not really same cutting, usually the one I intend to wear regularly is less restrictive, and with belt loop.

Otherwise go to those winter/travel stores.. they have more affordable stuffs

Motorcross gloves? hahahah Well i'm looking around for one also. Winter wear shops does not stock nice ones. All they have are those big loose ones. Last time saw nice pair being sold in ACE hardware. Its for general work, but the built, fit and quality of the leather is pretty good. And for RM79 seems to be a steal.

Hi, I am new in buying suit.

Want to ask, is wearing a slim fit suit meant to limit the arm movements? Or the correct 1 is after wearing slim fit suit the arm still can go 360 without pulling the suit?

I had tried the slim fit suit in Padini and it suits me well, the only problem is I cant raise my arms because the suit is pulling. But if I go 1 size bigger then it doesn't looks fit..

Any of the sifus here know if button stance can be adjusted once the suit is completed? I find my first button half an inch too low for my liking, but am not sure if its possible to alter, since they will have to alter the lapels as well? =/

That is the trade off for modern cuts. Also the arm holes are big and not smaller which causes such effect. Only custom made ones u can specify it not to show like that. U also cannot buy an off the rack and try to shrink the arm holes because it will take too much time and some weird patch materials involved. There is also cost.

Guys, been looking thru this thread with great interest. I must say, quite alot of good info. Looking to make my first suit and i've got a few tailors in mind at the moment but the only problem (besides having tonnes of money) is deciding on a design that suits me. Could you please recommend a website or a magazine that i can browse and checking out different suit designs.

And then there are magazines like GQ, Esquire etc if you are looking for a trendier cut.

That goes without saying...I wanted to suggest thekerbau for a taste of the local scene but it is still a relatively young forum, not as comprehensive as SF.

Hi guys, I'll be doing a 3-piece grey suit for my wedding in Nov, most prob @Ah Loke. Am thinking of similar cutting and color as what Beckham is wearing.

user posted image

My question is are there any other recommended shirt color besides white, that'll still look good?

Appreciate some comments. Thanks.

light colours with the grey...

a light blue or light pink shirt... with WHITE collar and CUFFs.... then finish with brown shoes and white pocket square.
