Anyway, found an old shop in Klang Town, the suit only cost RM500+-, i'm not sure the material, but the sewing is very good! He is an old man, age around 70++. Should I ask him is it MTM or bespoke? rclxub.gif

about the wight of fabric, it is suggested from kotmj post to buy above 300gm. however if it is too heavy it might not also suitable with our climate. my question, what is the max acceptable weight for pure wool fabric? us 325 gm is ok? how about if the weight for pure wool is slightly lower than 300 gm like 290 gm

Too low, certain kinda cloth will lack "body"

If refering to kakmj's post, you will notice he is advocating mohair mixed wool for lighter cloth. This is partly cause mohair is coarser, and will give more shape/body to the suit depsite being light.

So are you going for the 600 buck suit or the 50k one? I suggest something in between, around 20k or so biggrin.gif

The topic is in V3. You want me to go through every page from V1 looking for an answer?

Anyway, doesn't matter. Someone has already replied. Don't reply if you're not going to give a helpful one smile.gif

Well, it's my first tailor-made, and I kinda set a budget of RM1,000. So I'll stick to not crossing that.

My apologies notworthy.gif

I do agree asking and let someone else do the work of answering is much easier and reading thru some post yourself.

Well do post and share some pics of your new suit once you get it done.

Leather gloves go with biker jackets not suits. Unless you need them for winter in which case it will be hard to get a decent pair in MY.

I dont think leather gloves goes with suit per se.

But if you want winter gloves (made of leather) try those winter clothing shops... although i doubt their quality is anything to shout at.

OR you can try those branded boutiques (LV, Prada ETC) their shop in Europe does carry gloves... not sure about KL as I hardly shop here
