how to use the DVD rom since it's listed on the menu.

do we need to purchase a proprietary Rom like the wireless?

if you got a internal DVD drive, just buy an usb enclosure box from computer shop, usually the box can accommodate either SATA or PATA(IDE) dvd drive

The lasted firmware for HDPRO+ is for OEM model rite
Any different compare to HDPRO customized firmware
GUI got wat different ?

have u tried it out? i got a lot of burnt dvd... if confirm can use then i will go and grab the box..

then i no need to copy from share drive through my pc.

Hi yangxi. I'm interested in ur R1055 M2 to replace my old HTPC. May I know if it's suitable to run long hours (like 10+hrs a day)? Thx^^

compare with R1055,R1055 is aluminum casing wink.gif

No network? Saves a lot of time wasted on copying/burning, not to mention storage space.

quite few ppl use dvd backup. 1 HDmovie file size over 4gb.

HDD+ Docking better ^^

sure HDD is better right now, but when bluray getting cheaper, than that's another alternative.

by the way i got a lot of rmvb which were burnt to dvd to save up my HDD space so i still need a dvd rom to access to the file.

i've downloaded an avi file which is embedded with subtitle. PC's media player classic can enable/disable the subtitle but hdpro+ can't show the subtitle at all. At solution for this?

only MKV can embedded subtitle.

should be avi+srt

press subtitle-button on remote to select the subtitle during playback off the movie .

Hi all,

I just upgraded to Hdpro_20110406_oem.rar and now I cannot remote control the machine and even manually moving the cursor also cannot.

Please help.

how do I revert back to the older firmware?
