get external hard disk casing with both usb 2.0 and eSATA, by using eSATA will definitely save you lots of transfer time

My AVR only have Digital Coax Input and not Optical  sad.gif

Found one at Harvey Norman Ikano, very expensive about RM170  shocking.gif

Anyone knows where else I can get the cable? Am staying at KL.
*
hdpro got both coaxial and optical digital audio output, and your AVR got coaxial, perfect match, so why do you need to buy RM170 worth of whatever, very puzzling hmm.gif

for coaxial digital audio, you can use any 75Ω coaxial cable such as RG-6 cable used in astro, even the RCA cable, you do not need to buy RM170 cable brows.gif

all RCA cables I have encountered are all in coaxial format, but for audio RCA its impedance may be in 50Ω

I have never seen audio RCA cable using cable in twisted pair fashion shocking.gif , it really not suitable

twisted pair cable impedance is 100Ω, not suitable to use as a audio/video cable

Hi yangxi,

I just bought external hdd but my mini cannot detected the external hdd. why ? or I have to use the e-sata instead of usb port ? thanks.
*
you need the external casing, and connect both eSATA and USB cables from the casing to the device for it to work, USB in this case is to supply power to the external harddisk

i've downloaded HD 1080 video from youtube in AVI format. It can't seems to play using HD PRO and it stated file format not supported. Any idea why?
*
I don't think you can download video directly from youtube, try other third party capture software that can output H.264/MPEG-4 AVC format

incompatible between HDTV and player may be, feedback the HDTV brand and model number to yangxi, in the mean time set the player to lower resolution such as 1080i or 720p

yangxi,
I noticed that you got new firmware for s6T(2-9-2010) in your file download page, can I use it for my black remote s6T with existing v1.1.03-A01 firmware?

For the HDPRO+, the sata port located outside the panel, can we plug the desktop internal hdd to that sata port? But how about the power cable for the hdd?
*
for accessing hdpro mini esata port, you need to use external casing with eSATA, power will be taken from the usb

new implementation of eSATA now come with integrated power brows.gif

Hi all,
I'm new to the family. Just got my HDpro+ player from Yangxi about a week ago. smile.gif

I hadn't really got a chance to try it out much yet except tested it a bit. Just wondering, my GF's brother, who is currently using it at the moment, said that it'll keep skipping to black screen after 10 minutes but audio still keeps continuing. Is that normal?
*
skipping to black screen?

did you mean black and white?

some demo movie will switch to black and white

I have this problem with HDPro+, everytime I connect the unit to my router using cable and after sometimes (<1 days) I notice that i am having frequent internet line drop. When i disconnect the cable, I have no line drop. Anyone having this problem?
*
sounded like IP conflict, make sure each device's ip address is unique

Hmm... my friend said it was all black.
Anyway, I'm not sure about him, I don't have a problem when watching it. I think it's his TV's settings.
Kinda love this player.

could be HDMI cable problem, change the cable
