Thanks bro Yangxi, downloaded it just now, i hope that more english online content included in the next firmware.
Can bro Yangxi request extra option of slideshows setting, that we can browse and set any folder to be played, it is messy to put 2 or 4 mp3 file in same picture folder. I got too many folder of pictures, watching slideshow without music is boring especially with whole family.

is the new firmware fix the slow hdd detect? i notice that after flash the new firmware the fan make more noise.... the firmware speed up the fan speed?

Hi yangxi, I updated my HDPRO+ with this firmware (29/12/2010) the "Hardsub" still problem I have tries so many .mkv file
what is the problem actually

Not sure if this can help, but the common problem when selecting subtitles is you need to use the UP arrow key (and not the more intutitive DOWN arrow) to select the subtitle.

You can try:

1) While movie is playing, press "subtitle" on remote. The subtitle menu will pop out. Default is "Off" i.e. no subtitle display.
2) Press OK on remote.
3) Press UP arrow on remote (not DOWN arrow) to select the first subtitle stream. Press UP again to select the 2nd subtitle and so on.
4) When desired subtitle is highlighted, press "OK" to confirm selection
5) Press "Return" on remote to return to movie
