Can anyone tell me how to use HDPro Parental control function? It is not stated in the manual. Thanks in advance.

Op I thought it work like ACRyan which can lock folder of media files. Too bad then.

So far ACRyan Play!On and the Mede8er can use YAMJ. Still no news on HDPro+ yet?

Ya of course not from realtek but HDPro+ afford since they really do it then value added.

Tried up the slide show function in HDPro+. Ohya how to make the playlist function work under slide show? I got select few songs under playlist but seems no music came out. It seems only work for songs put under "folder" option.

Is this Slide show's playlist function is those MP3 playlist such as m3u that need to place under same folder as image file? It is not those we made thru HDPro+ under "select" and "confirm" methods? It seems not really user friendly this slide show mode.

Another issue which I notice that whenever I press any buttom on remote eg play, etc, media player will indicate on the screen what I press. However I notice that the indicated "rectangle" box show on top of the monitor got "white colour" angle at each 4 corners. It not supposed to be there rite? It make the indicated box and background screen are difference tone. Hope you all understand what I meant.

xtended, this is what I did now after get some idea from ACRyan forum. I think it is same as Pro+ or Mini version. If you set ur background music under MISC setting to "folder" then ur mp3 or wma must be within the pictures folder that you want to play the slideshow. This is what you can do.

If you set under "playlist" meant any mp3 & wma files that you chose as "playlist", the music will play when you start ur slideshow. One annoying thing is that the song will start over from beginning whenever new slideshow start and no "shuffle" songs can be selected.

Regarding ur copying process, how big ur files? I tried few RMVB files around 300MB each without any problem just take time to copy.

I FOUND OUT THAT TRANSITION EFFECT seems like got BUG. Whenever I select all EFFECT suffle, only cross fade effect working during slideshow. I tried to test out one by one of the effect, if seems not all working. Only Cross fade and top to bottom effect working. Yangxi, can you confirm is this BUG?

Updated latest firmware and try "Customize Live TV" but all channels stated "Failed to connect to server.... ".

Not yet in ur firmware link rite?

If I connect directly the HDPro+ to my laptop for file transfer or edit, I always kena static shock (Either the HDPro+ casing and also laptop AFTER connect thru USB cable also). What really happened? Is HDPro+ got problem? Hand feel quite painful when shock.... Is it faulty? Can I claim the new set if this is problem since I bought it in Dec 2010 only? Thanks.

I have a comment on HDPro Resume Function. I found out that this Resume Function only work for one file but not all. This is quite useless if you wanna come back to previous files rather than the latest one. Eg if at first you play File A, then File B. Resume play for File A wont valid anymore. It only to latest meant File B. Is this only happy to HDPro?

Yes understand the bookmark rule. Just to double confirm is Hdpro_20101225.rar? Maybe I go back to update the batch again and retry.

I had reflash the firmware twice and restore as well. It doesn't work at all. It ONLY RESUME ONE file which is the LATEST one BUT NOT OTHERS which I had stopped previously. Kindly report this bug to fix OR my HD Pro+ got problem AGAIN. THanks.

1) If File A playing > STOP then play File A again then CAN resume.
2) If File A playing > STOP then play File B, then STOP. If you go back to play FILE A, the file would not resume. It start to play from beginning again. Then resume for FILE B not work as well since you play FILE A again.

Internal HDD. Sorry to tell you I forgot to mention previously that those files from difference folders. You may try again to test files from difference sub folders. I tested more just now and the finding are if files (eg RMVB, AVI, MKV) within the folders can resume even more than 3 files. However once you play MORE than 2 files (if one then still can) in other folder, then the previous folder resume function will gone. Hope you understand what I meant now. THanks.

PS: Regard ur QUOTE of B-frames, all my files able to seek by GO TO, FastForward without any problems.

maybe you should check ur internal harddisk for bad sectors.
