QUOTE(winc87 @ Apr 30 2005, 01:32 PM)
ask u guys.....

I have 2x512 hynix D43 KVR. I tested 1:1 up to 260fsb and it ran stable in memtest86 for hours. So i decided to up my cpu clock speed by using divider. I set FSB to 280, multi to 9 and divider 9/10. It did post but didnt boot into windows or memtest.

My vdimm is 2.8v, VID = 1.425 * 110% , vLDT = 1.4v , chipset = 1.8v....

any idea guys ?
*
HTT frequency more than 3 perhaps?
Or did u enable CnQ?
Like arj mentioned above, maybe u need to increase vcore..

Or ur RAM doesnt like dividers....some RAM can work only at 1:1

Most of the people trapped by the winnies incapability of handling four slots double sided RAM making them run at DDR333 moreover 2T configuration resulting in severely reduced performance..

However single sided RAM occupying four slots would do DDR400 but at 2T...
Fellas..never ever try to neglect the importance of choosing ur RAM wisely on AMD64 platform---the mem controller is quite fussy...

Interesting,

From the database:
Irenic-----------------3500+ @ 2.70 Ghz @ 1.65v @ XP-90 & Tornado @ Newcastle

I notice the vcore. An improvement I must add. Watercooled?

Nice one pcmoddingmy.
Btw the redline is binned at what speed?
the xp4000?

As for CL1.5, we can tweak it using A64 mem tweaker.

Yup most of the problems is because insufficient amp on the rails. TT480 is not a good PSU. If im not mistaken, 12v rail is very low 17 or 18. So I will not suggest TT480 anyday. Dont buy PSU according to Watts, you have to take note the amp on the rails.

Someone from XS posted this pic, smmarizing the hot places on the mobo...
Well I suggest you do something regarding the mark areas, and one thing I notice, SLI configurations record the highest temp particularly in between those cards.

I always make sure all lights are off when replacing modules. This is common mistake I notice forumer did. Just to make sure if you are safe to replace modules, unplug the ATX power and JPW4 from the board. I always told newbies to do that, sometimes they don't notice the lights.

Your pic is quite small, I have to stretch my eyes a litl' bit to identify those values. Your vcore is 1.53, stock vcore for winnie is 1.4v. The safe voltage for winnie on a good air cooling(below 50 degrees on 100% load) is 1.65v. So you are pretty much on the safe side.
