Since you already downgrade, why not recovery and factory reset it... who knows...

are you positive it's not usb brick? all the symptoms seems so, altho I don't have personal experience on this matter.
keep sharing your progress... wish i could help you more in this area.

just to inform.. I completed the rooting process.

Big thanks to andrekua thumbup.gif ... it was indeed the goldcard. once created new goldcard (using different sd card), it was smooth sailing from step1 to finish.

Was using win7 64-bit.. so it was indeed doable (with a little twist).

Hnmm.. quite tricky indeed. From what I understand, your situation now is:

- Phone works fine, but could not detect SD card.
- When connected to PC, it can be read as mass storage.
- You have now successfully downgraded to 1.31 RUU, albeit still in "SD Card Removed" status.
- The error still persists after downgrading, and have tried but fail to read 2 other sd cards.
- You have tried usb-unbrick method... still no change.

that's about it? From what I can gather, this is indeed a type of usb brick.
I am by no means expert, but somehow it helps to eliminate all other variables first to see what else can be done.

btw.. try formatting ALL your sd cards to FAT32 and then load again into Legend.
Just make sure you save the goldcard.img somewhere else, for future use.

Just install RC1, and its blazing fast by default... which means no need enable comp cache and adjust vm heap to 32mb cos already preset...

Really nice as Facebook, Twitter, Maps + Navigation, etc are preinstalled...

Just RC1 + Gapps 20101020

Give the SuperFroyo ROM (by super@tmel) a go.. sure is blazing fast.

yeah u got them right...
the cards work well when connected to pc using sd adapter..
in fact they are other ppl's phone's microSD card...
yeah all the time i "feed" my android v FAT32 format..
it just wouldn't "eat" them.. sad.gif

usb-unbrick method can't work from step one which is executing "fastboot oem enableqxdm 0"..
No sdcard found after reboot...

I'm guessing is the a hardware failure@microSD card slot spoilt?

Just to ask, where did u guys send the phone for warranty?
Only 2 locations in KL/Selangor which is Plaza Berjaya/Shah Alam?

i need help here seriously...  sad.gif
guys i tried to root but i oso stuck at here...
meanwhile, i'm not sure is it my phone is usb bricked...
cz my phone couldn't detect my microsd upon plug in...
i don't really know what's USB bricked too!

can anyone help me?
bcmengs can tell how u got through that step 2 part?

p/s: card can be detected in fastboot, recovery and windows but not when my phone is booted up normally...
*
bytf, i'm sorry for the late reply.
I got stucked during step 2 initially. End up formatting my SD card nearly a dozen times.
ONce you're familiar with creating goldcard, its easy to repeat it.
Anyway, i'm using the stock 2Gb SD provided.
Thus, i have to repeat the creation of GC & format to normal & bla bla bla...
However, now i wish to upgrade to 8Gb card. Also to reformat to another ROM.
Any recommendation for good ROM that:
- support 2.2 Froyo
- support Apps 2 SD
- stable ROM

@byfc: What kind of error is it at unbrick step1?

What OS are you using btw, since you need your pc to recognize the device as ADB debugging device as well (which windows usually not hv the driver by default).

I do not believe at this point that this is caused by hardware failure... cause you stated that card can be detected thru fastboot & recovery....

see here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=806419
read the manual at 1st post carefully before enabling Apps2SD though.

erm windows 7 32bit...
adb devices can show my phone, so does fastboot devices...

when i follow the guide to unbrick which is "fastboot oem enableqxdm 0",
it says okay without error, however, following the guide, this should enable the microSD and phone will see the sdcard after that...
my case phone still returns me "removed SD card" error....

I'm not sure whether is it really detectable...

Woah... Overclock my legend to 768MHz and its much better. However, when playing Angry Birds, the phone can get quite hot.

Got stucked in a boot loop if I use 805MHz kernel... I guess thats it for me.

Using ADW launcher now. Not bad.

I realised the phone seems to hang quite a bit now. I turn it off everday just to ensure it runs smooth.

Mobile internet another probem. With sense, thers the widget to toggle it.

Now only can use quick settings to toggle, sometimes can sometimes cannot, very weird.

If you are using CM nightlies, then you can try having the toggle widget in status bar.
Settings>CM Settings>User Interface>Widget buttons...

There you can select any widgets that would then appear when you slide down the status bar which is more neat than having bunch of widgets on the homescreen...

anyone having problems with downloading and updating in android market lately?
I can't seem to do any of those.

R u still unable to download and update in android market? IMO when ur phone memory is almost full, whereby a notification will show when is low on space, it will prevent u to download from android market. try clear some of ur apps and maybe it will work..
