Count me in...

I dont think Digi will offer Desire liao la. Even if they did, Desire probably drop in price and faster phone already waiting to be unleashed liao. Just have to accept that Digi is nowhere near Maxis lor. Maybe its payback time because Digi is attacking Maxis kao kao with the Iphone plan thus Maxis attack back on Android offering.

It seem like different places have different policy on how much to pay upfront. In the end, it does not matter as it will be deducted from your monthly usage. Paid Rm999 + Rm500 upfront for it. Since Im already under Smart Plan, just need to sign only and it was damn fast.

I read in XDA forum that someone actually had keys and coins inside his pocket along with Legend and so far no scratches on the screen nor peel off on the aluminium body.

Just turn off mobile network before going to sleep. This way battery only drop 4% compared to 20% with it on.

If you need Garmin, you should have bought Nokia phone and not Android. Garmin only works in Nokia and nothing else.

As for software and games, you can open the Market app and search from there.

It should not be that hot kua cos if you are making calls, the proxi sensor will turn off the screen.

When I online 1hr on the phone, it gets quite hot. But still no problem.

Unless you changed phone regularly and resell them.
My ex-5800 was skinned and when I sold them earlier this month, was feeling like, WTF, so all these skinning and SP'ing the phone without defects only worthy of RM50-100 more than someone whose phone looks like trash.

Added on July 23, 2010, 7:45 amJust tried Swype and feel quite disappointed cos slow. Slide IT is better I think, at least it was when I tried it on 5800. Losing pinch n zoom is another annoyance.

I think that argument needs more specific context. Apple sells 130,000 iPhones a day. That's one model from one company.

Android sells 160,000 but from numerous manufacturers, offering even more numerous models, in various flavors.

Look at it this way, which would be more worthy of attention, one woman giving birth to eight kids (octuplets), or eight women having ten kids?

I might not like Steve Jobs or Apple but I would not take anything away from the unqualified success that is the iPhone.

If there is only one Android phone, I think it would also reach this target (65,000/day) easily. People are getting bored with it, after all the same thing for 5th year. Slight changes each year is becoming quite boring. Besides people are anticipating great things with Android. I cant wait for full FLASH.

I think Apple really need to sit down and come out with something radical. Thats why some Apple owners can resist upgrading cos its minimal. They still does the same thing with some cosmetic upgrades.

Android on the other hand just keep on changing and evolving. It might still join the same route Apple took or maybe not, who knows. It really felt like what Symbian is when it started few years ago.

Just get back on to the topic of Legend...

No use debating this anymore. These numbers is just my assumption and means nothing more than a personal opinion.

Oh damn..
I figured that since HTC even bothered to post this firmware update, it must mean Froyo is quite some timeaway. I went on to try the Flash 2.1 apk and it did work. There is problem though. I suspect the requirement of RAM is on the high side. Facebook games loads upto 40% before crashing the stock browser. Ads that were based on Flash is much smoother. I think Flash is not an impossible feat. Just need to be patient.

I can't recall how the sms were like in the previous firmware. But it does go to the top instead of showing the sms that you click via the widget.
